Worst App
I’ve had this app for a few months now and have literally been able to use it once. It never connects. My old Mighty Mule one worked so much better and I didn’t have to pay for it! This app is horrible.
Needs improvement
Works like a champ however there is room for improvement such as widgets for both the phone and CarPlay (wireless included) also the ability to connect to Alexa would be nice but it seems to be no longer supported. I really would like to see the widgets for both the phone and CarPlay’s then this app would be complete.

Notifications useless
There is no way to configure the notifications. There should be an exhaustive selection of options for detailed notifications, such as if the gate was opened with the keypad, remote, by the app, or if somebody enabled party mode. All the notifications tell you is if the gate has been open for two minutes, which is totally useless and gives you no information. There’s also no information if the gate has not latched due to the safe force system activating.

This thing sucks
I sepent over $2000 buying the opener. I bout every option they had. I have to uninstall & reinstall 3-4 times a day to try to get the gate to open & close. It NEVER works for us😩
Doesn’t work
The app is pointless when it never works!
Opens by itself since I updated the app
The app updated on my phone about a month ago and now the gate just opens all by itself. I get a warning on my phone that the gate was opened and we did not open it.
Works on old iPhone but not iPhone 17!
App easily set up and worked on my XR but when del app from XR, installed and received key on iPhone 17, app just cycles between establishing connection and authenticating…. Phone is connected to my WiFi. Bluetooth on the app doesn’t work either!! Inconveniently having to keep up with gate remote or have to always ask husband to open gate!! Yuck!!

Font size
The new update makes the new font size way too large. I have an iPhone 14 Pro.
Good but needs a CarPlay feature
This upgrade and app works great. However it’s not setup to wireless CarPlay Apple. It would be nice to be able to not have to open the phone to open my gates

Highly Disappointed
You spend the extra money to have a Bluetooth capable gate for yourself & family but the app never works. It worked great for the first few days but now it doesn’t work at all. Looked for an update but there isn’t one. Also tried to switch it to Wi-Fi but when you try to set it up in the app…. It won’t let you.

Keeps crashing
My phone is up to date and every time I open the app, it crashes on me. Can’t get it to open up.
WiFi won’t connect. Error code 205. Can’t acquire ip address

Same as remootio app, just branded for ghost controls
I had the remootio app and love it, but I have two properties and wanted separate apps for each gate so I don’t get confused. Thankfully ghost controls has this app so I was able to do exactly what I needed to. Transferring my key from remootio to ghost controls was very easy, just a couple of clicks. It’s the same app, just different colors and different icon. Ghost controls smart upgrade is the best I’ve used! You can change gate settings like auto-close, party mode, and vacation mode all from the app. The diagnostic info is helpful too. It works with WiFi or Bluetooth. The upgrade is worth every penny and this app is great.
