Inconsistent with the website
I’ve been using giftme for awhile but I don’t like using this app. On their website you would see the description of the different packages associated with the dollar value. In the app you just see the dollar value alone. So spa packages and experience packages are hard to purchase in the app. You don’t know what you are buying. But I guess if you want to gift someone a supermarket or gas gift card. It works 🤷🏾♀️

Don’t like this at all
I don’t like the fact that I need to have connection in order to use this. I preferred the one QR code instead of this 10 min expired foolishness. Have the developers even considered that there are persons that cannot afford data on their phones. It’s not as if WiFi is complimentary at these supermarkets.

Convenient
The conveniences of this app is top tier. I sent my aunt who lives overseas a gift card for her birthday using the app and she was so grateful.

Downloaded app and registration does work. Called customer service and there was no answer. Sent a message on social media with no reply

You can do many things on this app in Jamaica. Pay bills, buy gift cards, mobile top up and u get cashback. I like it a lot

Very Convenient and First World App
I use the Giftme app to purchase gift cards and to get rewards from quite a number of businesses here in Jamaica. It's safe, easy and convenient (heavy on the convenient). It's ease of integration as a business owner myself into Jamaican banks is one of the best I've seen here locally. I fully endorse.

I think your written review being the only one for an app that supposedly has 161 reviews and a 4.7 rating is even more suspicious.
Anyway…I deleted this app without ever really getting into it because I wasn’t going to use my personal number in the signup process.
The +1876 prefix affixed to any phone number you enter looked phishier than the +1 that precedes most scam calls I receive.
I used my Google Voice number instead, and no code was ever texted to that line.

I downloaded this app to earn some gifts but the code for your number never pops up and that’s really suspicious
