As a business owner

As a business owner I will say this. The software basically has zero customer support. You don’t have a number you can call in to talk to a live person when needed. Additionally I started getting emails from what they said was gingr which means the Gingr software was hacked because that’s the only way they would have known I even used it. On top of that the price increases are insane. This year alone they are raising the cost another 25% an additional 500.00

Multiple notification per event

They just did an update but didn’t fix anything still getting 4 Notifications per event supper annoying. Had hopes after a year Gingr would fix this but nope:( they just release more updates that cuz more issues. And they ignore all the new issues they create.

This app is awful

Have this app for work and it never works as it should. Very buggy and always kicks me out. When doing report cards I can get all the way through one and then it freezes and won’t let me do anything on my screen at all except exit the app, and of course before saving the report card so I have to restart from the beginning. Get multiple notifications from the same thing. You don’t get notifications for messages that come through, just actual notifications. 10/10 do NOT use this app unless you want to spend your days frustrated.

Why does it notify 4 times for one thing?

Just like everyone else has said, you get 4 notifications for every thing. Also, I hate that you cannot pick what to be notified for. I work in a grooming, daycare and boarding facility as their lead groomer. I only care about appointment notifications but I get notified for everything. Please do something about this. It will wake me up at night and in the early morning from being notified one million times about new owner registrations and new file uploads. It’s absolutely ridiculous.

Disregard in Policy

Gingr do not follow their own policies.

It needs some updates

This app is not user friendly. Trying to figure out why my account works on other devices but not mine. Never know

Terrible

This app is filled with bugs. I get like 20 notifications anytime a reservation is made. And if it is more than one dog, my phone will notify me almost 50 times at once. I’m not even exaggerating. It drives me crazy. Not to mention the app itself is bland. Needs lots and lots of work

Pretty useless

I was looking for an actual app to view Gingr. The best I could find is this app. It was doing what it said it would, notifying me when I had notifications in Gingr, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of one. I would then go to the website and check. Now every single notification that does come in dings my phone 3-5 times. So annoying. It also misses random notifications that I guess it just doesn’t find important. No settings to customize anything. I just deleted it as I can go check the notifications on the website if needed without getting 3-5 notifications per action.

No options

A few more basic root options like time clock(that works), being able to check dietary instructions, possibly accessing and adding training notes. The app is garbage in its current form, I still just text my boss when I arrive and leave and I have been uploading the videos to the site so that is helpful but overall this app needs a ton of work.

Simple & Straight Forward

It’s super convenient to be able to get push notifications to my phone so I can quickly see when things like reservation requests, new appointments booked with me, new leads, etc.
It’s also the easiest way to bulk upload photos from playgroup so we can assign them to our Report Cards!

Update App Please

I’ve been on the Gingr website for about a month and was disheartened to hear that they didn’t have an app for it, such as MoeGo, until I went to the website out of sheer curiosity and noticed that their plans do all include the app. Downloaded it and the following were my thoughts:
Absolute garbage. No way to see the calendar, clock in/out, etc. Main thing is not being able to see the calendar. As a groomer I hate to rely on an internet site and have to pay a fee to use it when you can’t even use the app they created.
Come on guys.

Easy to use and keep track of my notifications

This is a very easy simple app so that I can get push notifications to my phone for my Gingr notifications. It helps me keep on top of time sensitive things so I’m not having to check my notifications from the desktop a hundred times a day.

I also love that I can bulk upload photos to add to report cards straight from my phone while I’m out in the play yards.

Suggested addition to dog profiles

I was thinking that an additional 2 drop down options would be very helpful in learning the best way to give medications to dogs in our care. Relying on CSR staff at check in to ask means that it falls through the cracks and sometimes we don’t know the preferred way to give pills. So my suggestion is on the dog’s profile beneath Medications there be a question for Medication method: Owner Provided or House.
If they choose House as the option a drop down of what all we use to give pills inside: Chicken wet food, Lamb wet food, Peanut butter, cheese slices, Deli meat, Pill pocket.
Does that make sense?

Can’t log in

I tried logging in and I typed the right domain and it still won’t let me in.

Terrible App

Can’t login even though the business name, email, and password are all correct. There is no way to reset a password even if I wanted to. Absolute waste of time application seemingly written and coded by high school Silicon Valley wannabes.

The worst

App doesn’t allow you to log in and you’re forced to use the website.

Either username/password is wrong or domain name is wrong

But actually they aren’t. They are all correct. I cannot log in to the app but it does just fine on the browser.

Don’t Bother!

This app is not worth your time, go straight to the website! First I couldn’t log in because of the domain and the once I fixed that now either my username or password are wrong … I tried restrung the password a couple times. Nope, didn’t work. Waste of my time and energy, it has already been deleted!

Junk

I can’t log in because “my domain name” is not correct. Well it is. So this is not a user error. Hope you guys can make this better cause my employers require me to use this website and app. Which are both incredibly painful.
