About

It's something you do ten times a day: split your class into even-sized groups for a project or task. But you want to keep things fresh. You want to give different kids a chance to learn leadership skills. And you want to avoid putting specific kids together if they're really not going to get along. Give Me Groups makes this effortless. Just enter your students' names into the App, each with an optional photo. You can specify which students shouldn't be burdened with leadership responsibility just yet. And you can specify pairs or small sets of students who shouldn't be grouped together ("exclusions"). Then, whenever you want a new set of groups, just tap the big "Give Me Groups" button, specify the required group size for this project, and the App serves up a new set of groups, each with a randomly designated leader. You can be confident that none of the incompatible students will be placed into the same groups. You can pre-plan student absences, plus it's easy to remove any students who are absent from class today so they aren't assigned to any groups. And, now, with the addition of the "Who's Next?" feature, you can "randomly" select the next student for a given activity. Who's going to answer the next question? Whose turn is it to clean up their desk? Who gets to present their project next? Turn a potentially agonising process into a fun process with a simple tap on the "Who's Next?" button!
