I booked a silk press with Glamsquad and was paired with Savage, and I couldn’t be happier. She understood exactly what I wanted and delivered a flawless silk press with soft waves. She was professional, arrived right on time, and made me feel completely comfortable having her in my home. The whole experience was seamless from start to finish. DC no call no show
No-call, no-show appointment for a POC client in DC. Extremely unprofessional and disappointing. Communication was poor, and there was no accountability or effort to resolve the issue. Would not recommend.

She was very sweet, but I requested my hair to be a certain way. I pulled out a picture to show them what I wanted and unfortunately it fell
Short. At the end of the night I had to remove 50 Bobby pins and then i had to rip out a desk rubber band. it ripped out a lot of my hair. the products that was used in my hair was terrible, cheap and damaged my hair.

Reviews
Glamsquad keeps asking me to leave reviews when I’ve already left the review. I can’t navigate through the app one day without having to leave the same review. I love the artists I’ve had so I continue to do it, but I am begging this app to get its UX figured out. I no longer want to use this app because of this. Are the reviews simply not going through? Please get this figured out. I will be uninstalling the app for a period of time until this is hopefully fixed.

UI bad
Can’t even sign up. After going through and adding services and trying to sign up, nothing happens. Gets stuck at the verification code page. Skip for now option also doesn’t. Had the code resent several times. Same issue. Additionally, I added 2 makeup appointments and 1 with a lash add on and it kept showing up with two lash add ons. Ill find another app to use. This has been a major disappointment after coming so highly recommended.

Poor Experience and Service
This was one of the worst in-person service experiences I have had.
The stylist assigned to my appointment stated that she does not use the app, which made it impossible for me to contact her through the platform. For a scheduled 5:30 PM appointment, the stylist arrived 40 minutes late. I was required to remain on the phone with customer service for over 30 minutes just to confirm whether the stylist would arrive at all.
Once the appointment began, the service was extremely rushed and unprofessional. The stylist did not follow my provided inspiration photos, did not apply hairspray to my updo until I specifically asked, and completed the entire service in approximately 15 minutes. As a result, the hairstyle did not last through the event.
Additionally, the stylist who arrived was not the individual shown on the app profile, which was both concerning and uncomfortable. When I requested to cancel the appointment and receive a refund due to the lateness, misrepresentation, and poor quality of service, I was told this was not possible.
Overall, this was a highly disappointing, uncomfortable, and unacceptable experience that fell far below any reasonable standard of service. I am requesting this issue be formally reviewed and escalated.

I had the absolute best experience with Kaitlyn (makeup) and Portia (hair) this morning! They both arrived early, were incredibly kind, funny, and so much fun to have in my home. As a toddler mom getting ready for family photos, I couldn’t have asked for a better team — they worked seamlessly together and made the morning feel calm and enjoyable.
Kaitlyn created the perfect soft glam look — polished yet natural, exactly what I wanted for photos — and Portia gave me an amazing blowout that lasted all day. They were professional, talented, and just wonderful people all around.

Easy, organized and excellent quality
I needed a make-up artist for my special event while in Chicago and found Glamsquad. They were professional, easy and organized to book with and I was VERY happy with how my artist executed the look I was going for. Will book with them again.
Stylists lied
Stylist had the wrong number on file and I was unable to contact her for the appointment we had scheduled. I called customer support and they gave her my correct number 15 minutes into the appointment. Instead of trying to contact me the stylist left and I was charged for the appointment even though it didn’t happen. Very upset bc I love this service but won’t be using it ever again
