Needs improvements

It works ok ish, but I wouldn’t call it pleasant to use on a phone. Double-clicking and dragging/resizing windows (Windows 11) rarely works well. I stream at 1440p60hz via fast AC wifi and the whole experience feels laggy like I’m going to accidentally click on wrong UI elements, and sometimes I do.

Panning around a large desktop/monitor on your phone sucks, and it’s inconvenient to switch resolutions all the time. I suggest they implement how Splashtop does it- pan the zoomed in view when the cursor hits the edge of the viewport (relative mouse mode). Constant pinching around to see anything sucks.

No copy/paste functionality between phone and remote PC. When I “swipe type” on my phone the text fails to show up remotely.

Promising product/app but feels immature still.

Local mode works

Finally downloaded since it looks like they added local control mode instead of having to use their cloud. This is awesome and works as expected. They finally have the full package. Compared to others theirs are pretty fast given gigabit internet vs cheaper ones using 10/100.

Doesn’t work. Don’t expect seemless.

Glinet is known for changing firmware and removing features even when they’re listed on the box. You can be shipped a product without a feature that is listed on the very box it’s shipped it. And to top that off the app doesn’t work…

Yay! Finally!

I always have my phone nearby, whereas I don’t always have my laptop. This makes it so much easier to access my comet locally and remotely! Thanks! I will say, interaction is a little different vs like Screens or VNC Connect, but the main thing is, it works!

Worthless

When using the Comet Pro you have to have an HDMI signal to access any of the Toolboox, Accessories, Settings, etc. tabs. Without an hdmi signal, the warning overlay blocks all the buttons to the tabs. Such poor UX it’s comical. Completely worthless app. Stick to accessing through a web browser.
