Charging me when I pay for a subscription??
I already pay for a globe subscription and I’m so fed up with these constant additional charges every time I want to read the paper.

Great as long as I am home
A nice “green” way to read the Globe and Mail each day without ending up with a recycling bin full of newsprint. My only issue with it is that when I travel, which is a key reason to subscribe to this service, for some inexplicable reason I am unable to get the latest day’s paper to download. I tried calling tech support with the Globe but they were not helpful (do-we loading on Apple devices) - YMMV.

Doesn’t work if you create an account with parter
I’ve used this app in the past on my tablet and now have a new account which I (foolishly) used my AppleID to create. But then there doesn’t seem to be a way to login to the app. When it does work, I like that it looks like the printed on newsprint paper.

Globe to Go App
This app has had problems that reoccur, for example I can’t even download the app for some reason. I’ve got problems downloading the paper and it’s very frustrating. Actually a poorly designed app.

Format failure
I find the Globe2go has many format failures.
Glitchy
This app is a good idea and considering it launched more than a decade ago, at the time, quite progressive. The problem is that the app is glitchy and often needs to be deleted and reloaded. I suspect the developers have done next to no work to keep it updated or improve it in anyway. So today it is as frustrating as it is useful.

reading the Globe daily
I started to read the Globe daily because I felt just reading the NP put me in a position of being too one-sided. So far I think this has helped me greatly.
Unstable
Offline reading is a hit and miss, half of the time I can’t access my library while offline. When I travel to a different country, it never works on the first day, only after a day or two the paper starts to show up
Amazing app
This is an amazing app and very user friendly.

It’s ok, but……..
Until recently, I read the Globe on Press Reader. When we renewed our subscription we had to switch to the Globe2Go app. The pink headlines are very annoying. I’d love to either get rid of them or switch back to Press Reader.
