Poor stability. Will continually lose connection when I am standing next to the grill and the internet connection is no more than 10 feet away.
Interface looks better than legacy version that I never had a connection issue with. I couldn’t even keep a good connect with Bluetooth standing next to grill.
Downgraded back to legacy.

Great tool when it’s connected.
I like the app . You can adjust profiles, change/ check the temps of the probes. Downfall is the app will keep disconnecting from the grill. You will open the app and nothing will be on the screen. It will reconnect after a few minutes, it gets annoying.
Positioning
Would be nice if the temp probe read outs were a little lower down where they are not cutting off the grill temp read out.
Functional… but only barely
Very simple. While the app is functional it is not the most user friendly. This app leaves a lot to be desired compared to other grill apps.
Poor connection
App is sluggish and takes long to connect and then has to reconnect constantly. Cannot start a profile remotely. Calibration settings could be easier to understand.

Very bad app
They can buy as many reviews as they want but the reality is this app is useless. Not only is it very glitchy and slow it has a terrible ui. It also does nothing for you. You can’t set the adjust the fan speed when smoking only cold smoking, you can’t adjust the amount of smoke, and the app doesn’t stay connected to the grill once it is closed. The app doesn’t send you a notification when you have a timer set or your food is getting close to being done. it disconnects if you close the phone or switch to a different app. It also sometimes doesn’t connect to the smoker all together. There is no point to adjusting the slider for temperature. It literally does nothing and is a waste of time. It doesn’t affect the fan speed. All together a very bad app

Love the grill hate the app. Needs a lot of work
The app needs a lot of work. It is constantly losing connection with the grill. Even when it is connected have to generally submit a temp or change several times before it works. It badly needs to be fixed. Again amazing grill horrible app.
Why all the fake reviews?
The app needs work. The number of consecutive five-star reviews with comments that come straight from marketing material makes the company look very unethical.

Not enough Information on the Climate Control. Was working with WiFi, but now will not connect.

Absolute failure
My ledge will not connect via server mode. This was a selling feature for me and now it not longer works. I was told there will be fix, still nothing. Told to use via Bluetooth instead. Not acceptable. Should have bought a Traeger.
Doesn’t work most of the time
The main purpose of this ap would to be to start you grill while in range of the wifi however this never works! I can never connect to my grill unless I go turn it on, this was never the case before. The other main reason is monitoring cook, but don’t worry it won’t alert you or anything when you have reached desired cook temp unless you have the ap open. Ap needs major work l.

At first this new app sucked but Gmg has done lots of work to it. Works flawlessly for me now. Love you can see your whole cooks on graph.
Won’t connect
Always says there is an update I click update grill shows updated and it fails everytime

After 1 year app no longer connects to Ledge.
If it ain’t broke don’t fix it
What have you guys done. Made the GMG app way harder to navigate than it needs to be. I’ll be deleting and using the original one.
Wide temp swings
Generally, Grill controls seem to work. Only giving 3 stars because I can’t tell if the app or grill controller is buggy. Too many times where I can’t trust the app or controller. Say I’m at 195 degrees. I will change the temp of the grill through the app to 220z. While the app says the grill is at 195, the second I change the temp the indicator will drop like 30 degrees to 165 and stay there. I dont know if it’s the app or controller. But it makes using a “easy” smoker a headache.
