No recurring payments?
Seems like such basic functionality to be missing - especially as I can see it was requested 2 years ago.
Fundraising
While the app is really good for sending one off payment requests to individuals, it doesn’t give people the option to put a QR code for fundraising. We run a charity and from time to time sell raffle tickets. I signed up thinking i would be able to use a QR code rather than sending out bank details

Coop bank users
Why can’t clients with a Co-op bank account pay me? This seems very strange seeing as though the Co-op have helped develop the app.
Waste of time
I tried this app to try and save time on sending invoices to a handful of clients. Out of 10, only 3 could pay via the link. Of the others, most were unable to do so because, ironically, even though this app is free for Co-op Business customers, the Co-op bank isn’t listed as an option for clients to pay from. I ended up having to generate invoices, send bank details and have back and forth email conversations just to get paid. One client had such a catastrophic experience that her banking app crashed and she had to spend two hours getting it back up and running again. Needless to say, promises of time saving exceeded reality. I will not be using this app again and will advise others to steer clear.

A good Service but the app needs refinement
The service in general is fantastic but there are a few niggles in the app the need addressing
Entering phone number when creating a new customer could be more intelligent and accept a full number pasted with the international code in it.
Send a notification when a payment has been made or a payment goes overdue
The enter pin screen lacks intuity
No login button and too easy to hit logout

Very easy and effective way of sending requests
Starting using this around a month ago. Great for a small business like myself who needs an easy and convenient way of sending requests to customers. I would add that when making improvements to the app, it would be nice to be able to set up a payment plan as a whole instead of having to add each individual request one at a time. Would definitely recommend to anyone 👍

Very, very glitchy
The app seems to have gone down today. Problems sending payment links. All of my customers are getting error messages which prevent them from competing transactions.
When GGP paid works it’s excellent. When it doesn’t it’s a nightmare and support just tell me it’s an issue with my customer’s banks. I find that hard to believe as they all use different ones. That means there’s an issue with all of them at the same time? Really?
Also, why is the Co-op Bank not on the list of accepted banks? It helped develop this app.
Needs more work, better communication and and proper fixes.

A necessity for the modern business!
I’ve worked in several roles as a finance administrator in the past and have struggled with overdue payments and making sure I can paid in a timely manner, I wish I had this app back then! A fantastic piece of kit makes my life easier every day.
LOVE IT!!!
My cash flow is the best it’s been in YEARS. Paid almost instantly and the money goes straight into my account with no processing fees. Can’t argue with that!
Super simple, and direct to bank
Customers to my bike repair business have commented how quick and easy GGP is to use. For me, it’s much better than cash and BACS bank transfers and puts the money immediately in my bank account. A real help to this small business.
Very convenient and very easy
I use the app in my practice for clients who have banking apps on their phone. They can pay there and then. Unlike card payments, no fees involved
I had trouble to set-up the original app (I am not tech-savvy), and later on forgot my password, but customer services are second to none, guiding me very patiently.
Overall, for a very small business like mine, it is providing an amazing service, for both my clients and myself.

Saves me time and so much easier to get paid
Really pleased I tried this - easy to download, add my info and most importantly, get paid. I’d been doing things manually before this and getting into a bit of a mess. Now it’s all done in the app and I can bill my customers via email in a few clicks.
Brilliant little app
I’ve been using this to get paid for my jobs. I send the request before I leave my customers site....been paid before I get back to my van!
