It’s a Great game…but
This game is fantastic for when you’re bored for a bit and while improvements have been made, it’s not great improvements.
Optimization is definitely needed, this game will absolutely heat your phone up Quick.
Support is simply not there unfortunately. I still haven’t heard back from the bug I ran into. That was like….6+ years ago? Just about.
Once you expand your influence in the current map, there’s a point where you plateau and you can do nothing else. The update with the Shamans has definitely made it easier to keep your people happy without spending diamonds but it still takes significant time and effort to get that point. There’s also the occasional issue where you make some Lily Pads for your people to chill on and some will just randomly straight up drown. (You’d think after obtaining an item that requires people to swim, everyone would be able to just swim without drowning but no?)
You would think that with such an interactive game, being away from a world for a time would possibly generate some random changes. Like trees growing where they hadn’t been previously, a water source making the area around it farmable (second world), but that’s just not the case which seems slightly counterproductive because some things are time-gated in the game. You are eventually forced to step away from the game to wait for some things to be completed. It’d be nice to see that while I was away, the world had also done some small changes.
The Astari temples (should you choose to accept the people or remove them) need to either become removable or you should be able to destroy them. Also, some of the Astari constructs are also permanent and cannot be removed, even if you place a field or a house on it. Really weird.
There hasn’t been a single update in a year, which is utterly disappointing but not all that shocking. You might be tempted to buy some diamonds. It’s not worth it. Until the devs or the individuals in charge get off their hands and do a major overhaul of the game, it’s best not to become too obsessed with it, no matter how much you like a sandbox game.

Great game but loading is iffy
Some days the app will not load just a white screen for hours. Other than that, I’d give it 5 stars.

Good Idea - mediocre execution
I like the idea and concept of the game, it can just become slow and there are bugs. Don’t watch any Ads for boosts, it doesn’t work as you can’t exit the ads once they’re done and any builders you had working return home. So giving them ad money actually hinders your progress. Not only that, playing on a smaller screen (phone) you use up most of your belief moving ground that you didn’t mean to. For a very peaceful game it can be annoying. I like the relaxing nature of the game and think there’s great potential.

A great game, I Love to play.
I love the game have been playing for years cultivating and building my civilization. I believe that the game could use a few features to get the player more involved personally in the affairs of their people. Like maybe add some new feature that causes the people to start sinning and you have to enact judgment by sending an asteroid to get them believing again or something like that. I believe that will bring more light into the game.

Can’t take over Astri village
Is there supposed to be a village in Overworld that can’t be captured? I’ve gone two whole beacons past the village I’ve only got one more beacon in the sole of Overworld I can send my people to walk over the Astri village area but I can’t sculpt the area or have my people live in the village

I don’t really know what to rate this because I didn’t play it more than a few minutes, I don’t think it’s a bad game, I only didn’t want to wait for a long time for things to pick up speed, because there’s many games to play. Basically the same as any video game engine except for the fact that it’s God themed , you form terrain and place characters and objects. I like this art style more than the worldbox iOS game’s art style.

Basically the same as any video game engine except for the fact that it’s God themed (although God says it’s offensive to him anyways), form terrain and place characters and objects. The question of “did humans make God or did God make humans?” posed by spiritually dead brain cells is answered by saying “if God made humans then it’s obvious from history because even pagans before Judaism worshipped God in the Middle East, and does time start thousands of years after humans first emerged and first documented their history on earth anyways?

I’m almost impressed
There’s nothing like a mobile game that completely lacks touch precision. Especially when that touch precision ultimately makes you spend money! It drains your most basic gameplay resource. And any QOL features that help with touch precision drain that same resource — on an exponential level.
What a coincidence, I’m sure, that this is the devs’ main form of monetization. Taking advantage of… what? Their OWN improperly engineered interface? Surely they wouldn’t sink that low.

Side note: the part of the population meant to represent women are called Breeders. They wear pink dresses, sit around, and talk all day. They aren’t allowed to help with building. Take from that what you will.

I would really like to see an option to turn terrain sculpting on and off. I often accidentally modify areas that I don’t want to change, and it’s becoming a really frustrating problem. Having a simple toggle to disable terrain editing when it’s not needed would make the game much easier and more enjoyable to play. Please consider adding this feature!
