I don't receive any pushnotification on my iPhone 17 pro from the app when the garage door is (still) open. I've never changed my settings because it worked. I checked the settings and these are not changed. Notifications are enabled. What's happened Gogogate2?

Difficult setup, but works great afterwards
I give functionality 5 stars and setup 3 stars. Setup is very difficult because it either works or doesn’t after going through setup. You don’t know if you made a mistake until the end. My suggestion for setup, go very slow and double check each step before moving on. If you make a mistake or think you made a mistake, factory reset and start over. Be patient.

Works well but CarPlay please!
The app and system are simple and reliable. No complexity to get in the way. Would be 5 stars if I didn’t have to stop and remove my phone from CarPlay in order to open the building garage door.
No longer works
If you need to set your device up again, it just times out. Product no longer works. It looks like it has been abandoned.

Great app but it would be great if they add it to CarPlay so you can easy access in while driving home safely.

This thing is junk. I never was able to get it to work. A year + later tried again and now it won’t even attempt to connect to WiFi. Where’s the green light??? Tried installing new software on the sd card and it’s 7 GB ? Seriously??
Unreliable Location Service
Perhaps an IFTTT issue rather than Gogogate2 issue. Cannot rely on it to function reliably.
Update:Remote access issues still happening
Update June 9 2020: as expected, the firmware and app were updated. I had to reload the unit from scratch. But, we are back to working again! Still a great and solid unit.
Previous review: Been rock solid for several years. This week, noon. Remote access broken. Then a firmware patch, remote Access still broken. Am sure they are working on it. But in the mean time, I can’t operate my unit

Massive scam
My gogogate version 1 just stopped working remotely out of the blue. I contacted support & was told they are no longer supporting ggg version 1. Told me to buy ggg2 instead.... Ummmmmm, nooooooo. How long until version 2 is unsupported & you force me to buy version 3???!!!
Firmware crash
After updating the app, it asked me to update the firmware. I click OK, says downloading, then failed, then crashes. Every time I open it?

Broken app
Everything worked fine for several years but after recent iOS updates App no longer connects to GoGoGate:
- via LTE
- via AppleWatch
It only works in local WiFi and even then when you switch WiFi networks you lose connection again.
The App is in bad need of update - it has been a year since last update!

GoGoGate2
Installed GoGoGate2 works very well. But at first configuration was hard.
Installed a wireless IP Camera Foscam FI9821P Camera work great with it own app, but very slow and delay with GoGoGate app.
GoGoGate2 app need an update to fix the delay that cameras connected to it.
FYI. When garage door is open. Bottom of the app shows

Total trash!
Was painful to install. App setup requires professional skills. In less than two years, two out of three relays on the device are dead!! Contacted support and they had nothing to offer. If you’re outside the one year warranty, all they offer by means of support is a 15% discount on the next piece of trash!

Great app but poor video
2 years on and no reply or update
I fitted this device to a garage door and a shutter door and this device opens and closes the doors seamlessly from anywhere using my phones 3g or 4g or wifi and combined with my ring doorbell pro I've taken more than 30 deliveries whilst being away from home, sometimes in other countries.
There is one problem, I bought the video add on for about £30 for 3 years which after fitting a camera in my garage allows me to see inside my garage whilst using the app but this doesn't work as advertised or is next to useless. The video to my phone is running at about 1 frame per second which is not fast enough to see what's going on, delivery has happened and all I see is a closed garage then the next frame is a half opened garage then a fully opened garage and the parcel has been delivered before the next frame which is of the fully opened garage. If I swap to the app that is associated with the camera I get smooth video (obviously when connected to wifi or good phone signal) i have a very fast home internet speed and even with the gogogate2 hard wired to my network this is still the case. I spoke to Gogogate2 and they said this was normal. I say that they should not be charging for the video feed until they sort this.

Refuse to allow CarPlay Siri integration
What a shame, with some simple software update you could permit your loyal existing customer base to have the GGG2 app work with CarPlay and Siri but instead you just try to up sell us to buying new hardware and binning the GGG2. I do not wish to re wire premises with new hardware for something that could be done with a software release.
