Good Solid Leads
Good Dog generates a lot of great solid leads from real buyers. They must pay a lot in marketing because they pop up first in every search. Their app and process is very easy. Beware because they will “blacklist” you and hide your ads if any of the leads contact you outside of the app or if you don’t close at least 15% of your deals which is difficult if you are a quality breeder and attract higher end serious clients. I wish they’d contact you personally or do a site visit to validate why you may be selective in who you sell to. I think we’re the exception to the rule but we do get punished for it. We refuse to compromise our standards and still have found some solid leads through Good Dog so we keep it as an option but continue to market other places as well.

Permanently removed without clear explanation- breeders beware
I would not recommend Good Dog to breeders.
I used Good Dog years, I had positive customer reviews, and built, legitimate connections through the platform. then my program was permanently removed. because they claim my account was connected to a previously removed account the email referenced rules involving false identity or false information even though I registered using my real legal name, my own contact information and my legitimate breeding business information I asked them directly to explain what information they believe was false where was specific violation they believe occurred instead of given me an explanation I was told the decision was final when I asked again for clarification they told me no further information would be provided and that I would never be eligible for reevaluation this is extremely concerning to me as a breeder a platform should not to be able to make a serious accusation Permanently remove a business And then refused to explain exactly what the breeder did wrong i’ve seen many other breeders publicly complain about Good Dog policies including reducing visibility losing preferred status sudden account removal poor communication and feeling like there is a little or no meaning appeal process some breeders question why puppy mills are still on the platform while established reputable breeders are removed good Dog may advertise their self as being focused on responsible breeding but in my experience, the platform has become far too controlling over payments visibility, and breeder account accounts my advice breeders is to build your own own website, keep your own records collect reviews where you can control and never let a third-party platform become the foundation of your business
Based on my experience, Good Dog Has lost my trust And I would not recommend to other breeders or buyers.

Unfortunately, my experience does not reflect the message you are sharing here. After my account was removed, I reached out three separate times trying to get answers and discuss the situation, and I was completely ignored. If breeders are truly valued and these decisions are not taken lightly, then communication should not stop once an account is removed. Being ignored after repeatedly reaching out says a lot about how customers are treated and makes it very difficult to believe that Good Dog genuinely cares about the breeders who helped support the platform.

No Response No Validation
I did not receive any response after I submitted my breeder application. I uploaded the required documents got 1 generic email with link to upload documents and never heard anything afterwards. I sent 2 additional emails and nothing not even a confirmation . I was able to sell all my puppies through the AKC website with no issues or Fees. Skip this and use your own website or social media and save your time and money

As a long time breeder of Golden retrievers, my business model change when I became associated with Good Dog. The platform is flawless and allow great communication with our buyers. 10 out of 10 stars!!!
