Still Not Usable
Don’t download this app until they fix the glitch! I downloaded the app because there was only one review saying it doesn’t fully fit on the screen. Well make this two. I can’t get past the first screen because it all cuts off the screen and I’m not seeing everything. Completely useless app. It is not increasing my joy like it claims it does!

Keeps crashing
Used the app 1-2 times and really enjoyed it, but now I can’t open the app without it crashing and closing before I even get to read anything. Shame.
AI?
I so badly want an app like this, however I want it to be real news, not made up stories. And it is really hard to tell when there are no source links to learn more or verify the story. In addition, one article was full of a whole paragraph of gobbledygook making me wonder if they were actually all just written with AI.

Can't get past the initial screen
Just downloaded and can't get past the screen saying Welcome to Goodable. Was excited but :(
Can’t Use
I want to like this app, but I will never know because for some reason it doesn’t fit on the screen of my iPhone. I just tried to get into again and I got stuck on the second screen and absolutely could not access the button on the bottom of the screen. I could barely see it, but couldn’t click it. I went over to apps and it had an update, so I updated it. Now I can’t get past the first screen. Ugh. For an app that’s supposed to make me happy, it’s doing the exact opposite.

The app was working perfectly then I lost the ability to open them. I deleted and reloaded the app without success.

New version asks you to choose topics but the “continue “ button is off my screen so I can’t. iPhone SE2.

Want to try but can’t get signed up
Wanted to try the app but can’t get past the sign up screen, I’d put in my email and the code never arrived (and yes I checked spam folders😊) , tried another email and same issue.
Please look into this as I’d like to use the app and will revise the review if it updates and allows me to sign up.

Does WONDERS for your mental health
I was bogged down by all the negative news constantly in front of me on all my screens. Frustrated I didn’t know what to do or where to go, but I stumbled upon Goodable and it’s now my daily go to. Getting a fresh dose of good news every day has improved my quality of life so much and shows me that the world isn’t as bad a place that the traditional media paints it to be.

I am thankful for downloading this app. The reason I downloaded this news app is consume less negative media everyone else sees on the internet.
There needs to be more apps like this and I am glad this exists. I have major depression and it has help me spend less time on social media, and focus on what matter the most.

Disappointing delivery of an otherwise great idea
The UI is bad and the feeds are not well curated. It’s a promising idea but I was hoping for better delivery. I much prefer Pocket’s curated lists.
Love this app!
Reading inspiring news stories and articles from a wide variety of topics is a great way to start the day. Especially love the audio stories as I head in to work. Totally recommend!

I’m a huge fan of Goodable and their team’s mission. We all know that it’s important to keep up with a wide variety of current events to stay informed, but that doesn’t mean only staying informed of events that make traditional headlines. It’s equally vital, I think, to find a platform that reminds us about the good in the world — the parts of humanity that should be celebrated and cherished. Goodable’s team is dedicated to making sure everyday heroes get their due, something that should be applauded and appreciated.

So far, I am loving this app. The reason for the four stars is that every time I open the app, I have to restore my purchases. If this bug gets fixed, it will be an easy five stars! Thank you for this app. We need more good news in the world!

Best Kind of News is Good News
When I scroll any other news app, I begin to feel anxious and hopeless afterwards. There’s not enough good stories packed in with the dramatic titles that create clicks. Goodable doesn’t do that. The only downside is I wish the stories refreshed a little quicker. It definitely is a great news app and creates some feel good feelings!
