Digital tickets
My guests have no desire to be involved in downloading app to get a ticket it’s to much
Change to new ticketing
We have just spent an hour after dinner trying to download tickets which we used to be sent in the post so we could travel on ferry to Goodwood and arrive with paper tickets. There are going to be a lot of problems tomorrow with the new system. Older ones will not be able to work it out. This is a bad way to treat customers who have been coming to Goodwood for over 25 years to Revival etc. not a good way to treat the older members.

Incredibly tedious
Real tickets are far better. Having to have your guests create and download the app to share the ticket is tedious. Or we have to stay together. Not user friendly. I can find a physical ticket in my pocket. To find the digital ticket I need to get my phone out. Find my glasses to find the app. My battery does not last long so I need to bring a power pack.

First time
The new system will be very good once we , the customer, have got used to it. The instructions are a little vague for now.

The first thing to input in the app is an email address.
This has no capital letters, but it does contain an ampersand together with at least one full stop.
I appreciate that the ticketing app is new, but because a normal keyboard is displayed, everybody using it has to switch to numeric and back to alpha a number of times. It would help if two spaces appeared as a full stop followed by a space, but that has been stopped.
Apart from that it worked well.

It’s OK but clunky
Too many clicks to get to your tickets. I’m surprised there’s no way to add your ticket to the Apple Wallet for quick access to the ticket. I can see this slowing queues down when having to present your ticket.
System works !
Opened account , got ticket from my partners from his app easily . It works ! Great
Awful beyond belief! If only I could give 0 stars….
The app is terrible, although not quite as bad as the even more terrible Goodwood website, I’m a member and I have to login multiple times to do anything or find tickets for events. After that pleasure I then have the pleasure of the Ticket app to contend with - Why do I have to wait so long for tickets to become available after they are purchased, it’s a complete joke. I wish his Lordship would spend my membership money on a decent app, that would at least make the amount of money I have to pay marginally more worthwhile, either that or at least an invite to the soggy biscuit championships at the house each year.

Exceptional.
Always exceptional service and ease of use.
More complicated
Why not just issue tickets as before , you’re relying on a decent signal for people to log on
Useless and clunky.
Useless and clunky. Despite being able to log-in perfectly fine online using my saved log-in details, that app would not allow me to. I have had to request several email links (which simply took me to the online page) and eventually reset my password all to gain access to an app which is supposed to streamline the process. Go back to sending tickets out in the post - it’s far easier and part of the experience going to an event!

It works after a few logins and going around the houses for installing a PW
Once that was done had to login twice before tickets showed

Oh dear
Clunky difficult to use website. Taken ages to get this to work and now I’ve got to get my guests to do the same. I suppose that’s one way of stopping members bringing guests. All in the ridiculous claim of sustainability. They take the money and we put in the effort.
I can see a total shambles on the day. If not, it’ll be nothing short of a miracle. Oh dear. Oh dearie dear.

New app is a pain
Just send the tickets and swing tags for the members meeting as usual. Now have to waste time that should be spent watching the racing, queuing up to collect swing tags!! Doubt I will renew next year. Getting less for more money every year.
Awful
App is not intuitive, clunky and does not accept existing passwords and does not take you through to the ticket - why not link through from the existing Goodwood site? digital tickets are not a Goodwood brand/style solution - go back to the swing badge please
Simply doesn’t work
Tickets don’t appear, simple as that. Now the log-in page seems to have stopped working. Hugely buggy, which wouldn’t matter if they didn’t insist that this was the only way to see tickets
Paul
So baaaad !!
Why?
Utterly unnecessary and putting burden on customer not provider. Just send tickets and badges in post. It’s not hard! Just cos you can go “digital” does not mean you should or that it’s better.
Dreadful
Awful. The worst!
