Confused
I created an account online and then downloaded the app. I went to log into the app but it is asking for my phone number to login. I can’t add a phone number to my online account so in turn I can’t use the app because it doesn’t allow me to login with email. Honestly, doesn’t make any sense.
Shipping takes way too long
I sent my friend a gift to pick out for her housewarming on 12/2, she picked out same day. It is now 2/17, over two months later and it it still saying “waiting to ship”. This happened to me before (I’ve placed 6 total orders) and I had to ask for a refund after it was still “waiting to be shipped” for 9 weeks as well. I canceled, went directly to the company’s website, and my sister got it in 3 days so I’m not sure what the issue is, but I will be deleting the app and never using again once I get my refund on this order.

Scam - $100 product was listed as $150
For one of the gifts on Goody, an item was listed for $150 but when I went to check it out on the brand’s own website it was $50 cheaper. On Amazon it was $70 cheaper.
This is just on the product itself and not counting additional fees and shipping. Disappointing experience using Goody :(

Great for gifting
Really convenient for when you don’t know someone’s address or aren’t sure what they want. I use it all the time. App is really easy to use and well built.
App always freezes up
I’ve tried a few times to use the app to send a gift and it freezes up every time so I haven’t been able to do anything. Maybe my phone is too old and the app just isn’t optimized for my phone.
Gift never came and customer service is nonexistent

Coin rollout flawed
I usually enjoy this app but it’s been advertising the new coin feature to me and that part is not working. I’m signed in (have had my account for several years) and when I add more birthdays, I don’t receive coins and I have none accumulated.
easy quality gift giving i can trust
goody is next level gift giving. exactly what i’ve been looking for. i love to give gifts and goody helps me do it easily! i recently saw a family member who received a goody gift from us, he was wearing the sweatshirt and it was his favorite shirt because it was so soft. thank you goody!!!
Gifts take forever ! 30 days to get my gift
I was given a birthday gift for a friend. I responded right away. For an email saying that I would get tracking email. Never got one. Had to follow up twice for status of my order. Got a response on chat that the vendor was delayed but literally took a month. Still don’t have my cookies and NEVER got a tracking number. Don’t trust this app unless you want to embarres yourself in front of your clients

TOO EXPENSIVE
This is way to expensive for the average person there are cookies for $45!!!! Just shop on Amazon way more stuff and a lot cheaper!!!

I received a promotion to try the app out but everything was so expensive and the promotion ended up not even being valid I am deleting this app I would never buy anything on it at that price point
Bad service, do not use to send BUSINESS gift
You may think the business model is a good idea but it’s not working. I was a receiver
1. Once you accept and put in your address, there’s no confrontation email. I wasn’t sure if I had a typo or put in the apt number, I couldn’t check
2. They reached out to me to clarify address and the address was a bit complicated because it’s a business address with bldg number and mail code. They clearly couldn’t handle it.
3. Once they were not able to fix the address, they cancel your order without notifying you. I spent 10 mins explaining the business address thinking they should be able to get it right. The next hour when I check the status of the gift, it was canceled. No notification no reason no nothing.
4. At this moment, I was really frustrated. It’s a bad reflection on the sender as well so if you want to try it, try it on your friends, families, but not serious business purposes as it will fail! But who would pay extra processing fees if you are sending a gift to you close friends that you can buy whatever you want perhaps with a discount elsewhere?

Difficult to Use
Like others have mentioned who have received a local Google guide gift for $25, this is not a user friendly App. It’s ridiculously difficult to figure out how to actually redeem the gift.
The items for less than $25 aren’t vast and you have to account for the price of shipping as well so don’t count on a great gift. I opted for the popcorn which was stale and pretty inedible. Disappointed in the product and process pf ordering but they did send the product so it’s not a scam. Wish Google would just pay their guides as we should be for our time and photos instead of the ridiculous gifts that people can’t even figure out how to redeem.

Super Disappointed - Poor Experience with Redemption Code
I received a $25 code to redeem for being a Local Guide. Turns out there’s only so many redemptions and to be transparent, it is in the very bottom of the email offer. So from a communications perspective, it would be WAY better to put it in the “How to” part of the email and not below the signature area in font size 4 pt.
My biggest issue is more the poor app experience. I spent 30+ minutes trying to use the code (more time choosing a gift)) and the app let me make gifts, send them, and even showed that gift was created and then I would receive an email to “accept” the gift. At NO POINT did the app say it was not redeemable or that the number of redemptions were met. There was never an error message, etc. If the max redemptions were met, don’t allow the app to create and send a gift. That makes no sense… I was clicking accept over and over and nothing happened so I thought it was an app issue but after texting support, turns out it is a redemption issue. I would NOT RECOMMEND using this app because the system messages are non-existent, so you’ll just waste your time, and because the app allows you send and create gifts that cannot be “accepted” by the end user. It has the potential to be good and I could see corporations using it for incentives, but based on this experience, this product is not ready.

Don’t waste your time
Ridiculously overpriced items. If you are really lazy and you don’t mind over paying for gifts, then maybe you will like this app. Otherwise I recommend skipping it. Plus the app isn’t really intuitive. I had a coupon code, which it accepted, but then ignored and charged me full price. It never indicated that the code wasn’t going to work. I had to contact customer support to have the sale reversed.
