Accuracy issues
Love the concept. But I was counting strokes. And this was way off on the left/right. So I don’t know if cadence is right either. Wanted to love it. Hope that gets fixed.

Recording fine but no Strava
Don’t let me connect to Strava which is a pain but the app itself works fine.

I’m currently stood at the edge of the river freezing cold and I cannot get this app to work. I’ve given it all the permissions. Re installed it etc etc. this is a joke

Love this app but……
The only reason I paid for a different app is because they offer GPS of my location as soon as I start for family/friends in case I do end up in trouble. It also sends them a message when I’m done.

Thanks for you Feedback. Actually, GoSUP Liveguard also supports this Features. Because it uses Push-Messages Family/Friends just have to add it to their Homescreen and subscribe Alerts. We will make that more clear in the future when sending the Liveguard-Link to others.

But I am not happy to pay a subscription, and think this is the wrong approach for this type of app
I would be happy to do a single payment for the pro features, perhaps you should consider this as I am sure I am not the only person that doesn’t want to pay a subscription for an am I am only going to use for 6 months of the year ( uk )

Terrible
This app just doesn’t work well. The logbook shows the wrong activities (from different apps). The recording isn’t accurate and it frequently crashes

Recording issue
This used to be a fantastic app but over the last couple of months it’s not recording and saving my paddles. I press go it’s recording my distance on phone or watch and then once I’m done and press stop nothing saves - IPhone 13 mini
Needs an update
Used today and was able to look in on my progress through my paddle. Hit pause from the Home Screen and my workout completely disappeared. 4.5 miles of paddling just gone 😑 never had any issues but just updated to ios17 and I’m assuming that’s the issue.

Great app for paddle boarding, kayaking gives u all u need and a bonus that it links with Apple Watch, allows u to check out your route aswell as other information

Perfect for my needs!
I found this app when the one I had used for 2 years (beginning with P and ending with R) suddenly asked me for a $47 annual fee to continue - and this is feature packed, and free!
A good app, further refinement would be great
First the positives.
Stroke detection seems good, and is an interesting stat to see. Unsure of left/right accuracy.
General tracking is great, exporting to apple fitness is useful.
Improvements
Ability to trim the activity to allow for delay between finishing paddle and stopping the tracking on Apple Watch (can be a significant time when focused on packing gear down).
Export to Strava.
Refinement of left/right stroke tracking accuracy. Not a huge deal though.

Excellent SUP app
This is a great Apple Watch app for paddle boarding. Quick to use, records left/right paddle stats, GPS and calories. No companion app but I thinks that’s a positive. Apple health integration works and you can see the history directly on the watch. So pleased I found it and tried it. It has worked well every time.
