Accuracy issues

Love the concept. But I was counting strokes. And this was way off on the left/right. So I don’t know if cadence is right either. Wanted to love it. Hope that gets fixed.

Recording fine but no Strava

Don’t let me connect to Strava which is a pain but the app itself works fine.

Arghhh

I’m currently stood at the edge of the river freezing cold and I cannot get this app to work. I’ve given it all the permissions. Re installed it etc etc. this is a joke

Missed 10 mile trip

To record of it ... very sad

Response from developer

Hi, I‘m very sorry for that! We fixed the issue in the meantime and it should not happen again! Can you contact me via e-mail, would love to give you a gift as excuse.

Love this app but……

The only reason I paid for a different app is because they offer GPS of my location as soon as I start for family/friends in case I do end up in trouble. It also sends them a message when I’m done.

Response from developer

Thanks for you Feedback. Actually, GoSUP Liveguard also supports this Features. Because it uses Push-Messages Family/Friends just have to add it to their Homescreen and subscribe Alerts. We will make that more clear in the future when sending the Liveguard-Link to others.

FAQ

How do I install the app on my Apple Watch if it's not appearing?

If the app doesn't appear on your Apple Watch or the installation icon is grayed out, open the App Store on your Apple Watch. Navigate to 'Account,' then 'Purchases,' find GoSUP in the list, and tap the 'Cloud' icon to initiate the download.

Why isn't my paddle tour distance showing in the Fitness app?

The Apple Fitness app primarily displays distances for walking, cycling, and swimming. Other activity types, such as paddleboarding distances recorded by GoSUP, are not natively supported and therefore may not appear in the Fitness app's distance logs.

What kind of data can GoSUP track during a paddle tour?

GoSUP can track your speed and route using GPS, detect your paddle strokes (beta) including cadence and efficiency, and recognize when you enter the water and its temperature. It also provides a compass to guide you back to your starting point.

How does GoSUP integrate with my Apple Watch?

The app is optimized for Apple Watch, utilizing its sensors for detailed analysis. You can view personalized workout data, use Live Activity on your Lock screen for controls, and set up complications or widgets for quick access and at-a-glance statistics.

Is GoSUP compatible with iPhones and Apple Watches?

Yes, GoSUP is designed to work with both your iPhone and Apple Watch. You can use your iPhone or Apple Watch to record tours, and the app leverages the Apple Watch's sensors for optimal data collection and analysis.
