Taking money without asking
Not happy that Gousto took £27 out of my account because I renewed my subscription. I hadn’t even placed an order. Plus there was no forewarning about this.
First Try
Food was very tasty however a couple of the fresh ingredients were poor quality
Dinner solved
My son recommended gusto and I’ve now had 3 deliveries all food is fresh, plenty for two people and great options. All options so far have been excellent quality! Easy to follow instructions for cooking one thing we have done is on receiving delivery split the meals into separate food bags then it’s just a case of pulling the bag out of fridge sometimes pot luck what we are having for dinner but there are no bad meals.

Poor Filter Options
The app could be more user friendly when it comes to saving favourites. When a favourite is saved, there is no way to move this to an order. If you search for the favourited recipe in the search bar, it can’t find it and you end up scrolling lots of recipes to try and find it. The search facility cannot cope with more than one word!

Gousto's concept is simple but so powerful: make it easy to plan buying and cooking meals at home.
For me: work can be stressful, unpredictable and erratic. Goustos regularly delivered meals are the perfect counterpoint to this.
I feel I eat better food, more calorie controlled and avoid the temptations of takeout since I started with Gousto. I've tried other services over the years but I always return to Gousto.
Do yourself a favour and try this if you haven't already. It's cheaper, healthier and cooking becomes a habit.

I do not need to see an advert in a product I am already paying for, I’m trying to get to the recipe cards because they failed to deliver them and there is no option to close the advert

A few problems
My first time after my sim recommended me Red pepper and onions were almost past their sell by date in the seeet and sour chicken thigh and no lemon with the honey garlic lemon otherwise ok
Love the choice
It’s great because the food is delicious and I can choose from weekly, fortnightly or monthly, depending upon my calander.
Wouldn’t bother
Have had 4 boxes so far, first one was great.
Second one I ordered 5 meals, received 2 that weren’t any of the 5 selected. Reached out to customer service, didn’t get a response.
Same thing happened the next 2 boxes and again no response asking to make a complaint.
Eventually got through to someone and they tried to say I didn’t select my meals so they sent me 2 random ones, refused to log a complaint initially until I started really getting a strop.
Absolutely shocking service really, staff are polite and friendly but useless.
