I use this almost everyday to quickly pull up directions to places I frequently visit. I also use it to keep notes about restaurants.

How do I turn it off so it’s not on all the time ?

You can close the app to turn it off. To close an app, swipe up with your finger from the bottom of the screen and then swipe up to finish closing the app.

Great for marking your favorite places around town so that you can easily find your way back. Either by following your trails or pulling up a driving route in Apple Maps.
Record The Route You Took
Super easy to use. I use it all the time, not just when I’m traveling. I can pull up navigation instructions to all my favorite places.
Tracking fuel consumption
I run this app every time I drive anywhere. I like that it shows me how much I spend on gas as I’m driving. I also like that I can save my parking spot when I go into the store. I think the app is a lot of battery power so I plug it in when I’m driving
