Technically your subscription is with App Store, not with GPSmyCity. Please contact App Store directly to find out why your cancellation did not go through.
Spontaneous adventure
Wonderful to walk around a city and visit important sites, listening to history and discovering a city at the spur of a moment in between flights or train rides.

Great App
We used this app in the port of Suva, Fiji. After being told our visit would be underwhelming, we had a wonderful day. The app guided us to many interesting spots around the city. When you arrive at a location it has an audio guide that clearly explains to you everything you are seeing, just like having a local guide with you in person. And the walking directions are very easy to follow. We are looking forward to using this app again on our trip to Japan next year.

Mediterranean GPSmycity
We did a 21 day cruise and used the GPSmycity app as our tour guide. It was excellent we enjoyed putting our earbuds in and being guided by the map to all the best places we decided to go. The descriptions and information given was interesting and informative. We recommend this as app. We enjoyed it.

Not impressed
Was really hoping this app worked - I expected it to give verbal routing instructions to the next sight on the route and to start the audio automatically for the sight when you arrive. It did neither! This is the response I got from them: “We don't force users to strictly follow the route or listen to audio; people are different and want freedom “

Good app for city breaks giving decent level of info. Way better value and informative than Big Red Bus Tours.

This app makes traveling to cities so much more enjoyable. You will be able to learn about the city and its history without paying high prices for guided tours. You can also customize your self guided walking tour by reviewing the sights before your vacation to prioritize those you most want to see
Great DIY App
I love this app. I have used it all over the world and it has always worked very, very well. I am always delighted with the city walks that I download and then follow. So often, time does not allow for a guided tour, so I use this app. It is terrific.
Very useful
I use this App regularly when visiting new cities. It’s a useful indicator or highlights to see and do. And gives just enough historical background on the sights.

My wife and I have used this app in cities all over the world. We enjoy touring independently, and this is the perfect means for doing so. The maps, background information, and the walks themselves are excellent!
Professional personal City tour guide
We tried this App in Chester. It worked very well, especially as the phone just had to be able to know the location. The content had been down loaded before with good web access
Unusable
Goes to intrusive ads every time app is opened and cannot get out of ads afterward. Not even given option to subscribe

We just came from a European trip where we used this app in 5 different cities. It was like having our own personal tour guide! Gave us great flexibility and advice at each destination. Highly recommended!

I found both tours were easy to use and informative with information on the sights. The shopping tour was a bit confusing with a lot of the map being in Chinese and not English so this made it a little hard to navigate at times. It may be a little different if online.
The descriptions on the city Intro Walk were very informative and definitely made the tour more fun and informative which in turn made it seem easier if that makes sense.
It was easy to navigate most of the time but as mentioned due to not all the maps being in English at times this caused a little confusion but nothing that could not be rectified.
Very happy with the tours offered and would have done more if time permitted. Would definitely use again in other cities. It was great to be able to download and use offline as I was not sure what wifi would be like out and about.
I have also looked at other cities I have visited and can see that there appears to be a lot of information available depending on the city.
Overall, very happy with information and would definitely use in the future.

I wouldn’t travel without it.
This app is one of the best things I’ve used during my travels. It lets you build your own itineraries or it will do it for you. I found the interface easy to use for both creating my itineraries and when using the downloaded itinerary. Being able to download the itinerary and use off-line was a game changer. I would create an itinerary on my iPad then download and use it on my iPhone. When I couldn’t figure something out I would use the help in the app and on-line. Both were useful. Not only does it guide you but it also provides information about each point of interest, both written and with audio. I used an iPhone and ear buds.
It was also great at getting me back on course when I would veer off to see something of interest that was not on my itinerary.
The company is very responsive to their customers so that was an added bonus. I highly recommend GPSmyCity.
