Battery Drain and Runs Hot
Love the app and its ease of use.
Minor complaint that I have is my phone battery drains extraordinarily fast when using the app even if I am not scanning. In conjunction with this, the phone gets really hot to the touch. I have experienced this with my IPhone 12 Pro Max and a colleague has had a similar issue on an iPhone 11 pro max.

Not working
I have an 11 question quiz and it’s only scanning 3 of the 11 questions
Google classroom
Every time I log in to grade cam mobile on my iPad, I have to go back to google classroom and authorize it. Then re add my classes to GradeCam. Even if I am using GradeCam numerous times a day, I have to authorize it every single time. Other than that I love GradeCam but this error of whatever is happening is enough to make a stressed teacher want to cuss.

Horrible
Makes my life harder, not easier. The app doesn’t work well. Makes me nauseous when trying to scan. The program itself doesn’t have any answer options decent for high school math.
App is Problematic
The app isn’t as good as the web-based version. I have to resend my Google Classroom classes every time I use it.
Also, I can’t easily make a 2nd version without having to do a mapped variation version (which I don’t want to do).
I’m annoyed that this “Lite” version available as an App doesn’t have the proper features that the web version offers. My school won’t fund grade cam so I’m paying out of my own pocket for the app version and it’s just not great… Maybe I’ll try Zip grade.

Google login doesn’t sync
The app works…mostly. I logged in with my school Gmail account and it says it should sync when I login to the app. However every time it says I have no classes. So I have to go to Settings/Reauthorize Google classroom. The go to Classes and readd my classes from there to begin scanning or to see data. Every. Time. (Sigh)

Great app but...
...although I agreed to the monthly subscription I can’t get the handwriting recognition unless the district opts in? I can’t see myself paying for this because, as a math teacher, I needed the handwriting recognition the most.

I adore this system! I have used for years now and I just graded two tests from my phone because I don’t have my iPad with me! How’s that for mobility and efficacy?! Keep it up, people!
Great but student app needed
I absolutely love GradeCam. I’ve used it for years and it’s totally changed my teaching practices. Instant feedback for students and amazing analytics of assessments. Ideal for common assessments within a team. It would be unstoppable if there was a student app that kids could use to take assessments (formative or summative) or even use as a clicker (SRS). Then I could truly go paperless!!! PLEASE DO THIS! :)

Thanks for using GradeCam. Now your students can, too! To begin the 2020 school year, we added an option for students to log in from the main screen. Any assignments you publish to the student portal will can now be accessed by students on their iOS and Android phones and tablets. Give it a try!
Incredible product
Gradecam Go saves me so much time grading assignments, and has powerful data analysis tools to help me understand my students’ performance. It’s incredibly helpful to use these features in a mobile app any time or place.
Awesome
I truly love having it on my phone and works most of the time! The only reason I’m holding back on one star is because it kills the battery and as with all GradeCam things, sometimes it just won’t read a sheet.
Better than my laptop!
It’s easier and reads GradeCam answer sheets faster and with less difficulty than my laptop!
Great App, Battery Killer
Wow this app is great!!!! But I used it for less than 10 minutes to scan some quizzes and it ate up over 20% of my phone battery!!! I’m glad I can grade from my computer since I have a webcam. I will most likely be doing that instead of the app from now on!

Unreliable at best
Had to delet and reinstall 3 times so far, and I’ve only tried to grade one class😔. Really bad.

Essays
It would be nice if I could enlarge the essay portion so that I can grade it. Also sometimes it doesn’t scan and leaves a blank were a student did write a response.

Works better than with the laptop
This way of scanning tests is much better than using my laptop. The new update has helped compensate for the problems with “lighting” when scanning and now the camera is accessible more easily.
