Sooo happy
We are so happy we had this Gree split unit installed in our family room.
Worst app EVER
I rarely write reviews but this time I really feel that I have to
I have never experienced such a bad developed app than this one.
If anyone would ask me should I buy a Gree Wi-Fi air-conditioner? I would say do not do not buy a Gree Wi-Fi air-conditioner because you don’t get anything out of it but problems and headaches.
The weirdest thing is that the Wi-Fi connection between the airco and the Wi-Fi is very stable. It functions perfectly it simply just the connection to the app that fails.
It is really sad that a big company like Gree does not add energy into developing a well functioning app where the connection between the app and the airco is stable.

Compressor Failure - Warranty not honored
After only five years of a 10 year warranty, my compressor has failed and Gree will not honor my claim. Federal law states that if the unit is no longer produced and the part under warranty cannot be provided by the manufacturer, they are to reimburse or swap out the unit for a comparable one. Gree has Stonewalled my contractor for my claim after telling us that there was only one compressor in stock in the world and they do not know where it is. A reminder that I have a 10 year warranty and they are giving me an issue and have not helped out at all in this process. Another company that likes to scam the people who trusted their product and could not standby and honor their own contract. Do not buy a Gree Sapphire or any other product. This information will also be going on Google reviews and the news. If they would like to leave me in limbo, then I will let the world know as much as I can. 2026 and companies can’t even do the right thing.

Confusing temperature explanation and remote management
Why the Tooltip Refers to "Outdoor Temperature"
App Developer Bug: This is a classic UI layout oversight / copy-paste error by the app's software developers.
The Reason: The developers created a generic disclaimer popup meant to caution users about sensor variances (which are common with outdoor units exposed to direct sunlight or wind). They mistakenly linked this exact "Outdoor" text string to the help icon (?) for the Indoor Temp label as well. You can safely ignore the word "Outdoor" in that specific popup; it is simply a glitch in the app's text programming.

Works great. I wish I could use more than one device to access the thermostat remotely
