Can’t open the app anymore.
The Greene king app won’t open any more since since the app was updated. The on screen advice is to go to the App Store and click “update” When I do this, “update” is not an option that appears. The app does say it works on my phone, iPhone 8 Plus. Everything else works fine on my phone, please help.

Due to having an older iPhone X I am unable to use the app.
We used our local Greene King pub twice weekly for food and drinks, we’ve now gone to our local wetherspoons the food and service is better.
I would have stayed with Greene King as I would like to have used the offers, the off of BOGOF on mains this week 1-11th September I would have definitely used, unfortunately I am excluded because I don’t have a newer iPhone.
I really wish businesses wouldn’t exclude people just because of technology, it really doesn’t do anyone any favours, other than to ostracize 😢🙁🙁

Not possible to login or reset password
Just a simply horrible app - ‘tick box to verify you are human’ doesn’t even load when you try to login or reset your password.
Would suggest maybe taking a look at this and fixing it? Unless the core aim of the app is to prevent people signing in to an account in order to use it - if so, my mistake and 10/10 for the execution!

APL updated no good for a majority of users
Shame used to be good app easy to manage and use ,now it’s been updated only useable for iPhone 16 and above .

App not available to all customers anymore
Due to my phone being older than the app they’ve developed I’m no longer able to use the app and receive the discounts/birthday treat that I used to. Shame really not all your customers have the latest technology
Appalling!!
Went out for a meal with my parents & decided to use the app so we didn’t have to leave the table. We registered, then logged in, chose our food order & went to pay. The order had disappeared. Had to re order all over again. Finally went to pay & it failed with the payment 3 times. This took in total 30 mins when we could have just ordered at the bar which we had to do anyway! The app is meant to make life easier and it just frustrated the life out of me and wasted half an hour of our time!! I won’t be using the app again.

Your loss!
So you want to make your App shiny and new? Fine. Just please DON’T totally bar access to the earlier versions for those of us not daft enough to be always unnecessarily upgrading their phone for no real reason. Upshot being that I can no longer even open your app and so won’t be using your venues, however many tempting “freebies” you keep emailing me about, unless or until you fix this issue.

I shouldn’t have to download an app and have my data sold to eat at a restaurant. Water is £5 and a Coke is £1.50, make it make sense

Disappointing update again
Disappointing update again as the app still does not give you the option to change accompaniments with meals like swapping chips for mash or jacket potato, etc like you can do on other apps.

Got a german Phone, not sure if thats the reason. Sitting inside a greene king pub and 19 out of 20 times I get “you can’t register or log in from your current location” no matter if I’m using wireless lan or o2 uk or EE …
Strangely it did work about 3 times in total over the last few years although I didn’t change anything
