BEWARE-Locks You Out
Been locked out of my battery and can’t use my Greenworks tool since Nov. 2025 thanks to this worthless app, which I will forever regret downloading. AVOID!
Do better Greenworks
This is a critical app for robotic mowers. It was reliable in past versions last cutting season. But this “updated” app is terrible. Constant logged out by another user issues. Notifications no longer work. Brutal.
Bluetooth Connectivity aweful
Multiple attempts to connect to the mower through the app fails. No online help.
DESTRUCTIVE APP-AVOID!
I downloaded the app to try it out. While playing around with it I tried the battery lock feature, which worked. However, the battery unlock feature doesn’t work, and now I’m apparently stuck with a brick. Called Greenworks and they were not able to help me :(
Needless to say I won’t be buying any more of their equipment.

Terrible app does not work

Not very good
The app is not very good. I’m using it for a robomow and there have been very little updates for it not to mention the mower itself which is a whole other thing. I don’t know what update it started on but I had gotten an error notification that the mower was stuck. It really wasn’t. All it needed to do was turn right and it would have cleared itself. I got the mower working again and cleared it but I still have the badge of a notification on the app icon that I can’t clear. I can’t clear past notifications in the app, a few months ago I had parked the mower for the remainder of the day in the app and 30 minutes later, it left the dock and ran over our blowup waterslide, slicing the tubing for the water. If you have the app open it doesn’t refresh if you need to clear an error and enter the pin again. I have to constantly turn the app off, turn the mower off and on then wait for the notification to then open the app to enter the pin. It just does not work well at all.

‘Update’ is actually a downgrade!
When I first installed this app, it was SO much better! They’ve recently changed it and it not only looks worse but it is also very glitchy. They didn’t ‘fix’ bugs, they’ve CREATED BUGS that didn’t exist!
Doesn’t work
I can’t even get it to connect. And I had to agree to like 5 license agreements to find that out. Removed. App is useless.
Crash since last 4.0.0. Can't use it
Since the 4.0.0 version the app crashes when clicking my device... I can't use it since...
Useless app, does not connect to battery
Impossible to connect to the battery, when adding a battery, the app sees the battery but when tapping “next” it says an error occurred and that’s it.
Neue App
Grundsätzlich funktioniert die neue ganz gut - leider wurde jedoch Google Maps entfernt, was optisch nicht schön ist, denn wenn er sich mal fest gefahren hat, ist es durch die höhere Auflösung besser gewesen den Mähroboter zu finden. Bitte korrigieren
Aus der App verschwunden - UNBRAUCHBAR
Vor kurzem ist der Mähroboter aus der App verschwunden. Am iPad ging es noch eine Weile - jetzt auch nicht mehr. Eine Neuanmeldung des Mähroboters am iPhone wird zwar positiv bestätigt, aber er wird nicht dargestellt. Somit ist der Mäher jetzt unbrauchbar. H I L F E !!!
New app issues
Since the app update in no longer get notifications from my optimow. Settings are all on. Very annoying when apps are released broken.
Unbrauchbar nach Update
Seit dem letzten Update wird der Mähroboter nicht mehr gefunden. Auch nach Neuinstallation und erfolgreichem Pairing des Mähers mit der App taucht dieser nicht in der App auf. Er kann somit nicht gesteuert werden. Schwerer Fehler der App!
Aktualisierung mach Roboter unbrauchbar
Nach Aktualisierung der App wird der Rasenmäher aus der App gelöscht und kann trotz Anmeldedaten nicht mehr neu verknüpft werden. Somit ist der Mäher nicht mehr einstellbar. Bitte dringend korrigieren!!!

Won’t pair with device
After entering my serial number and pairing code, an error message appears:
“Failed to pair with vehicle”. Also, the QR code scanner doesn’t read any numbers.

Mehr bekomme ich nicht mehr zu Gesicht. App neu installiert… auf mehreren Geräten. Keine Chance. Nun kann ich den Mähroboter entsorgen und mir einen richtigen kaufen. 😑😑😑
Edit: Läuft seit dem letzten großen Update wieder und besser als vorher. Ich hoffe, es bleibt so.

Worthless
After agreeing to about 5 sets of T&C’s and signing away any right to privacy, you get to the actual app, which is only good for mowers. Cannot register any other tools.
