Life Saver

I never send cards on time and I’m about to be so on top of it with this app!

Cards I don’t forget to send

As someone with ADHD, this app is a lifesaver. I can finally send physical cards to loved ones without forgetting to mail them. I love that I can schedule cards for the Escargot team to print and mail. I bought the monthly subscription, which is worth it to me. Yes, it is a tad more expensive than a card you can buy and send yourself, but it saves me the hassle and frustration of remembering to purchase a card for an occasion only to forget about it as soon as I need to do the other steps like writing, stamping, and timing the mailing.

Not user friendly

I tried for over 10 minutes to send a birthday card. No luck. Each time I’d get to a certain point and that was it. I give up. Now my friend’s birthday card will be late.

Amazing customer service

The app is incredibly easy to use and very intuitive. There are plenty of card designs and font options to choose from, and I was able to find the perfect card for my dad’s birthday.

I did experience a small glitch where the app indicated that my card should have arrived by a certain date, but it hadn’t. I reached out to customer service and connected with Andrew, who was extremely kind and helpful. Although the estimated response time was around four hours, I received a reply in less than 10 minutes. Andrew explained that there had been a system glitch on their end and reassured me that the card was still on its way.

It ended up arriving about a week before my dad’s birthday, and I couldn’t be happier with the service. Thank you so much for the excellent support—I will definitely be using this service again in the future!

AI slop

Skip this app. The artwork is…not good…and it is mostly, obviously, AI slop. The “remix” button on the cards just makes that it’s AI even more obvious. No thanks. I’d rather spend my money on human created art. Additionally, I had to give my phone number for 2FA before I could use the app. It could be a coincidence but I got spam texts from two companies I’ve never used before in my life within minutes. No thanks. Hard pass. There are better apps out there that will send a physical greeting card without the obvious, terrible, AI art or spam messages.

I just wanted to address a few of the points you made for anyone that may come across this review. All of our artwork is created by real artists. We have an artist that works on staff with us who, in addition to a lot of other great work, makes many of the cards. We also work with a number of other independent artists who design cards for us and earn a royalty from their sale. When you purchase our cards, you are helping an artist earn a living from their work. We built the remix feature as a way to make our catalog more inclusive. Many customers see a card they love, but it doesn't quite portray them or their loved one quite right. The remix feature helps them get the perfect card for the occasion. The feature is opt in only for all our artists, and they still earn the same royalty on remixes of their work. Lastly, under no circumstances do we sell or give away our customers' personal information. We make money from selling our cards, we have no need and no desire to sell data. I hope this clears some things up! We're a small business and team, and we always welcome feedback and look for ways to improve. this is such a cute idea and i was super excited, but the app has a completely unnecessary feature to change the card artwork with AI. it looks like a lot of the cards are original art, whether the artists agreed to this or not it’s completely revolting. its also not disclosed anywhere on the app store page otherwise i wouldnt have bothered at all.

I appreciate you taking some time to share the feedback with us. We love hearing how the products we're building are received even (especially?) when they're not loved. A bit of context from our side: all of the designs in the app are original artwork, and the artists we work with are paid a royalty whenever a card is sold, whether the card is a simply the original work or a Remix of that work. The Remix feature is totally opt in for our artists, and right now it is only available for the cards we've designed in house. The greeting card is somewhat unique in the art world as it is not simply intended to be an artist's personal expression but rather exists to help enable to expression of the person giving the card. The Remix feature is a new experiment for us where we wanted to give customers a way to collaborate with the artist to make the work and the card personal. Perhaps the original artwork depicts a couple and you'd like to make that couple look more like you and your partner or it depicts a dog and you'd like that dog to look more like your recipient's dog. Or maybe you'd like the dog to be a cat. In doing so, we hope our cards can create a more powerful emotional moment for our customers and their recipients. The art work that our artists create is a huge part of what makes our product great, and it is very important for us to continue to do right by then and the work they produce. We are excited to use new technology in inventive ways, but it is very important for us to continue to be a place that supports artists and gives them the opportunity to make a living from their work. Boyfriend loved!

Got this for my long distance boyfriend and it is ADORABLE very high quality card, I wish there was tracking on the cards but I’m sure it’ll be added in the future, my boyfriend loved his card and I did too!

love it! needs some tweaks <3

i felt like God smiled upon me when i found this app. i’ve been wanting an easy way to send cards and this is perfect! my only only request is to install some type of way to know when the card will get there or a way of tracking. not sure how possible it is, but id appreciate it so much.

Scam Maybe?

I bought two cards about three days ago and they’re “still being processed.” However the app said it would be delivered between 3-5 business days. I still haven’t gotten any sort of confirmation..I want to know I haven’t paid for something with no service.

Paying artist pennies to get 0 likes and pretending to have a following on instagram. I can't imagine what's the point of this app.
