First of all, I love it when I get the box and there is a hand written personalized message on top for me to read! Then there’s the wonderful products inside. It’s nice knowing that I am not spraying lots of chemicals on my counters, sink, toilet, etc. I also enjoy the other household products like the dish/bag drier metal holder (which I also use to put my wet winter gloves on to dry).

Inconsistent app
I love the product selection, but ever since they rehauled the website/app a while ago, it is a disaster. Most of the time when I am in the app, I can’t add things to my cart, either an error pops up or there’s a loading symbol forever. It’s just incredibly inconsistent and I’ve started buying similar products in person at my local co-op instead, because it is so unusable.

Good products unfortunately shipped by Amazon
I’ve used Grove since I moved into a new apartment at the beginning of the pandemic. It’s saved me so much time and money because I can now skip my monthly trip to Target (and all the extra purchases I’d find there). I love that they experiment with sustainable solutions that scale. But my last shipment was delivered by Amazon. Nothing about Amazon and their business practices is sustainable and I don’t shop there. I’m very disappointed and will start looking for alternatives.

Fun way to receive household cleaning helps.
Great idea, terrible app
I love the grove products, the idea of low-plastic, plastic-free and related environmentally friendly home goods to browse and buy.
HOWEVER two major issues.
Grove has always operated with the plan that once you sign up they’ll ship monthly unless you tell them not to. This is MUCH WORSE than most stores like Amazon just letting you shop.
Now, they changed their app entirely, seems to mostly load a web page within the app, and it was working poorly enough I was using the website on safari only, until today that stopped letting me log in.
I had a shipment decide to ship itself while I was unable to log in and change anything.
Grove, I sincerely hope you fix your app, and change to allow me to just buy products instead of this presumed monthly shipping, or I will have to look elsewhere.

They use Amazon for shipping
I subscribed to Grove to avoid using Amazon. Seeing my most recent order arrive with an Amazon shipping label is extremely disappointing. I will be ending my subscription and using Good Store from now on.

GROVE IS THE BEES’ KNEES
I care a lot about the environment and was looking for ways to limit my consumption of single use plastics because I am sick of seeing plastic litter in our communities while knowing the greater impact it is having on our planet.
Grove has multiple shipping facilities, so your orders arrive lightning fast without using a ton of resources. A lot of the products are packaged and/or produced with no plastic and all of the shipments come in boxes with brown packing paper so you know it will break down naturally within a few years. You can recycle it or use them for crafts - my cats love playing in the packing materials too >^.^<
I was happy to find they also carry cleaning products and self-care items that are good for sensitive skin - and the planet! Mrs. Meyer’s is my GIRL! I am also a huge fan of Grove’s bamboo paper products (that NEVER get stuck to the roll so you get to use every sheet 🙌), swedish dish cloths, Pure/Paw Sense sprays, and recycled aluminum foil - I think the only thing I’ve ever bought that I would not buy again was cat treats and only because my cats love the classic “junk food” treats and they refused to eat the healthy ones 😂 they love the catnip and toys though!

Great products and service: App used to be better
Love Grove. Products are great and service is quick and reliable. Loved the app before it changed. I could keep a list of products I’ve purchased before. I Feel like the new one randomly adds and removes products. It’s harder to find things.

For an online subscription Grove is easy to use and the chats are personal conversations done in a timely manner. They take care of you and offer great products.
