I have had to use this device a few times and it has been one of the best investments I have made for the maintenance on my bike.
No US customer support support
There’s no US customer support available at all and getting any type of help is delayed. Some of the instructions are not very clear for the average person and it’s very difficult to get responses regarding your account and how it is set up in any modifications that need to be made.
Do the fact that I cannot look at my account whenever I want to and see the exact status and there are intermittent connectivity issues with the Wi-Fi I give this one star

Love and hate
I really love this device but I also hate it with passion . It needs much much better instructions . Step by step …per Apple or Android . When I can manage to get the device connected to my 1250 GS. It’s an amazing device and I love it, but it’s so difficult to connect. Sometimes I can connect it and sometimes I can’t. Sometimes when I have it in D2 D mode it’s telling me to connect my hotspot because I’m in a garage with no Wi-Fi and while I’m trying to connect the hotspot it disconnects and then I gotta restart and do it all over and go into my settings. This thing is very difficult to use. I am not blasting the company because I think the company is great and whenever I call them, they have great service and they are very understanding and very very helpful and respond quickly, but I just don’t want to have to call them every six months when I use the device. I can imagine what it’s like to design something to be compatible and to work with Bmw as a company and it must be terribly difficult, but I just wish this device was easier to use. I do want to add That I have seen a lot of improvements since I’ve purchased the device and I hope they keep improving it. The problem is I paid a lot of money for this device and I wish it would just work automatically much better.

Works as intended
I have been using my GS-911 WiFi across two different RT’s and it works quite well. Connecting to my network is a challenge once and awhile, but once connected I am more than able to reset service settings, etc.
If you own a BMW motorcycle I would suggest getting one, either that or enjoy overpaying for service work at a dealer.

Not impressed.
No longer able to connect.
Terrible Customer Service
Attempted over and over again (about 10 times) to purchase products. Continued to reject credit card despite no hold from 2 credit card companies I attempted to use. No way to contact anyone about paying for purchases. No help desk. When a few payments were finally accepted, shipments are delayed, about 40% of items were actually delivered after committed delivery dates. In some cases it took almost 2 extra weeks before deliveries actually arrived. Totally inexcusable!!!!

Works great
I don’t ever write reviews but I am so impressed by how plug and play this is that I felt compelled. Was having this weird check engine light on my r ninet and this thing diagnosed it perfectly. This thing is expensive but it pays for itself in just one missed trip to the dealership 10/10
Get something else update
Purchasing through Amazon went as expected, smooth and quick. Product on the other hand is a huge letdown. I bought the Wi-Fi edition because I didn’t want to use cables as my desktop is in another room from the bike in the garage. It does not connect via Wi-Fi to my desktop, nor my iPad as it claims. The ad claim any additional is for unlimited vehicle scan. For a total of $526 I would recommend getting the Beamer utility and save yourself $400. Which has more function and features over the GS 911.
UPDATE. Even though connected to the Wi-Fi router. The router blocks the cloud function of the GS 911.. when connecting to iPad make sure on your hotspot maximize compatibility is turned on for it to work. I find a GS 911 to use but it’s still lagging behind his competition.

Both requiring a Windows PC and you still have to pay the subscription fee to get the additional features. additional features are not included as it stated, until you pay the subscription fee $99 annually. Which has more function and features over the GS 911.

Device doesnt work
This device is trash, It doesn't work, it will only connect to GS911_9473 Which is weak wifi and crashes while im trying to use the device. At $400 ill pass i will be returning this.
Cannot Find GS-911 Wi-Fi Device!
I use my GS-911 Wi-Fi for my S1000RR and R NineT Scrambler. The device itself functions well and does what it’s supposed to. However, I’ve since sold my Windows PC and now GS-911 does not function at all with my iOS devices. The app doesn’t crash but it’s not finding my GS-911 device at all! There is also no MacOS app so I’m really stuck now. Please fix this issue before my next maintenance (in 2000 miles)!

App overdue for refresh
Know that there is a known issue with this device and iOS devices not being able to detect Motronic 2.4 and ABS systems used in the early 2000s. Many functions missing unless connected to a PC via USB cable, so…why tout it as a WiFi device? This has the look/feel of an unfinished piece of work on the iOS side, but works very well when tied to a PC via USB.

GS-911wifi WiFi
Cannot get it to work with my android phone, or my iPad. Only works if I connect it directly to my laptop (d2d). So much for the WiFi feature! Once it is connected, it works well. I can read the computers diagnostics, and can reset any error codes/maintenance reminders.
Can’t do any of the cool service functions. Not compatible with iPhone 11
Customer service wants me to bring my motorcycle into my house and connect the device to a computer and the bike at the same time in order to do anything.
I use an iPhone 11 and it cannot connect to the WiFi network I can create.
$400 turdsandwich in my hands, and since I have to register my vin with it, I can’t sell it for what I bought it for.
Was able to read and clear the codes, but not the service light. Cannot actuate the abs for a brake fluid change. Cannot access any of the “special” service functions that were the entire reason i purchased this device.
0/10. I would not purchase again. I could do all the functions available to me with a normal obd2 reader and a round to flat adapter. I purchased this because of the special functions that do not work and a refund is unavailable because the devices need to be registered to each person.
Customer service has not been helpful to resolve these issues.

I can’t for the life of me get it to connect to my iPhone 11 I had to use my computer to get it to work and read the codes on my s1000rr
Good .., but could be better
Annoying when you don’t have a windows computer . I have a Mac and I can still access everything but only IF I have good wifi .., and often I don’t , especially when I travel, and many features are not available to Mac as they are to windows when wifi is not available

Great tool and Great app
I have the GS-911 WiFi always with me on my K1600 GTL. With this app I can do diagnostics, reset oil reminders, do troubleshooting ,etc. I have the tool and this app for about 2 years now and love it. With this app it makes it so easy on the road to take a look at all the functions on my iPhone. Read temperatures, pressure, fault codes, etc inside the engine and on the bike. Just too much to sum it all up.
I can definitely recommend the tool and this app.
