Lots of potential

It’s a neat little game with a good repeat of things to manage. As long as it keeps being updated I think it could go a long way

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind words and the 5 stars! "A good repeat of things to manage" is exactly the loop we're going for, so it means a lot to hear it's landing. And don't worry, updates are absolutely still coming. We've got new content in the pipeline and we're committed to helping Guild Master Tycoon go the distance. Thanks for being part of the journey! 🛡️

Promotions

I like the game play so far unfortunately I can’t promote any of my people. Says I need to level up 10 times with 0/10. I have leveled up my guys several times from 18 to 31, 12 to 28 and so on.

Response from developer

Thanks so much for taking the time to write this, and you were absolutely right. We tracked down the bug: when we added hero promotions in a recent update, the game started counting levels gained from that point on, and it wasn't crediting all the leveling you'd already done. That's why a hero you'd taken from 18 to 31 was still showing 0/10. We've now pushed a server-side fix, so there's nothing for you to download. Just reopen the app and your progress will sync. Your heroes should be promotable again based on the leveling you've put in. One bit of honesty: the game didn't record exactly what level each hero was when you first recruited them, so we couldn't recover those numbers precisely. Instead we estimated each hero's starting level from their stats and reconstructed how many levels they'd gained, and wherever there was any doubt, we rounded in your favor. Thanks again for the detailed report, it genuinely helped us find and fix this. We hope you enjoy promoting your guild!

A lot of potential!

I love the core gameplay loop here. Just needs a little more complexity-- maybe a semblance of an overarching story, or the ability to earn heros with more advanced classes.

Response from developer

Thank you so much for the kind words and the thoughtful suggestion! You'll be happy to hear the next update does exactly what you asked: you can now promote your heroes into advanced classes. Turn a Warrior into a Knight or Berserker, a Mage into an Archmage or Warlock, a Rogue into an Assassin or Ranger. Each path changes how your hero grows and unlocks new gear options, so leveling up your favorites has a bigger payoff. Keep an eye out for it, and thanks for helping make Guild Master Tycoon better! ⚔️

Crashes

Every time you try to do boss raid the game crashes. The function doesn’t work and it’s a major mechanic toward progression. Do NOT spend money on this game or even bother to play it until they fix the bugs.

Response from developer

Hi, and thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. We're really sorry the boss raid crash ruined your experience. You're right that it's a core part of progression and the bug should never have shipped. The good news: a fix is already built and submitted to Apple. It's just waiting on their review (usually 24–48 hours). Once it's live, the boss raid will work reliably on iOS 26. If you'd be willing to give it another try after the update lands, we'd genuinely appreciate it. And if you've lost any progress or gems from the crashes, reach out to support at games@w3applications.com and we'll make it right.

Good game but….

Nice concept, nice game but why do you have to wait an awful long period of time to continue? What’s the logic to that?

Response from developer

Thanks for the kind words on the concept and for the honest feedback on pacing, it's the single most useful note we could've gotten. You're right that the wait between quests was too sharp, and we've shipped a lot of updates since aimed squarely at that: - One free quest refresh every day, so you're not stuck waiting on a bad roll. - Cheaper, level-scaled refresh cost afterwards (replacing the old flat 850 gold wall). - Guild Facilities (Tavern, Training Grounds, Library, Arena) that generate passive bonuses while you're away. - 28-day login calendar with rotating rewards to give every return a payoff. - Rebalanced raids and dynamic quest scaling so progress feels steadier. The core loop is still a tycoon/idle one. Some downtime is by design so heroes feel like they're actually working. But the dead-air gap you ran into shouldn't exist anymore. If you give it another shot, we'd love to hear whether it feels better. And if a specific moment still drags, please tell us where. W read every note. Thank you.
