Weather is too many clicks
Too many clicks to view local weather, prefer less ads and dedicated local weather app
Wish it was just News.
This app has misleading headlines and is left leaning in their national news reporting. Be nice if it was just news. Not left or right.
Not working
This app is not working-it’s says there is a connection problem. Ever since I got my new phone 2 months now!! Straighten it out please
If you like a lot of ads, this is the app for you
I don’t get it, I understand the need for revenue, but for every story you have to watch an ad before you can read it. I downloaded the app for its weather since we’re now into hurricane season, but then when I tried to read the news articles, I was inundated with ads. So much so I quit using the app.

Radar issue
Yesterday I noticed when I witch over to the radar it’s showing me Chicago. I’m in south west Florida. U til yesterday it always used and showed my location but now it’s showing Chicago. I will change it back to my location and if I exit out of the app it will return to Chicago. Please fix this.
Missing timeline.
I think the forecast is good but needs to have timelines on the app. One reason we look at apps is to see the timing of rain, etc. This needs improving.
Best local news
Gulf Coast News has the best local news coverage in Southwest Florida and best meteorologists. I can live stream both NBC and ABC to watch when I’m not at home or out of town. I also like the alerts for breaking news. I wish the weather map showed my actual location though.
Why?
I like your local news, but you need to separate the weather from the news, folks. Your app is no different from the mobile site. Live streaming doesn’t work on the phone. You need to really improve the app, you dumped way too much information in it, and It hasn’t changed in years.
It’s time to figure this out. I always end up going back to wink weather app, it’s great app and I wish I can say that about your app.

New app poorly done
Combining two stations, where you can only stream one is ridiculous. It may sound petty, but I get attached to my morning personalities. Now I cannot stream NBC. The ABC station lacks quality. From the cheesy anchors to the unsteady camera work on ABC, I prefer NBC. Also, the weather tab does not give the hourly forecast or the 7 day forecast. There is nothing up to date in the tab except live radar. If you fish for it eventually you get weather, but why not put it under the WEATHER tab?

Do not use-privacy pirates
Forced to upgrade to the newest version. After doing so, was required approve the updated user agreement. Got to the privacy part, which requires a separate click through, and it would not open the link. Any company unwilling to allow me to see their privacy usage, scares me. What are they trying to hide? What are they trying to steal from me?
NO THANK YOU, I’m out.
App deleted.

Best local news
The local news is always the best. With the change of ownership, we are getting more news from out of our area. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that the weather lacks the local forecast. Please bring back the daily and 7 day forecasts!
No live weather radar display
They have either removed live weather radar or, because of the indecipherable menu structure, hidden it so well that I can’t find it.
Mr Developer: the app souldn’t be written for your own use, but for normal usefs out there

App is junk
Use mostly for weather previously. Now going to the wink app. This one is junk
Too many ads
I downloaded during hurricane Milton, and there are so many preroll ads, I never get to the actual live feed
AWFUL Weather update. Switched to WinkWeather app
I used to rely ONLY on this app for weather radar and had all my family and friends loving it, too. Since the original NBC2 app was dumped for this new version, we are all dumping the new version and found Wink Weather app to replace it, We can set it to see our current location and, as an added bonus, we can see traffic notifications with a quick tap! We can’t understand why NBC would take something that was THE best local weather out there and switch it for something so worthless. We used to be able to set up the app to see full screen real-time radar with one tap, see our exact location as we travel AND set up other exact locations like exact home address. We could even see weather in locations we were heading to. I would not download this app hoping for a good weather option. It’s worthless. Until NBC goes back to their original version, try Wink Weather and check out the bonus traffic view.

Still no location marker on “new” weather app
Still cannot see my precise location on the radar within the app and this during Helene blowing through. Going back to MyRadar until you fix this elementary yet extremely important feature. I had recommended your weather app for years now I’m reaching out to family during this storm and telling them to go elsewhere for their weather app. You are giving us less feature's than before, why?

New App has less features than old
Loved the old weather app, this new one does not provide your location marker while viewing the radar. (Location permissions are enabled) This is a deal breaker. I want to know my particular location I am at on the map when viewing a summer storm band blowing through. Fix this and I will try it again, for now I am going elsewhere for my weather app.

What Happened to the Weather app?
You’ve lost me as an app user. I just need weather!!! I can get the rest on TV. Wink now has my eyeballs for weather on my phone.
What happened to the weather app?
I always used the weather app and now it does not exist any longer? Why? A large new station like this should certainly behave a weather app. Especially if you want to be the leading weather and hurricane authority in SWFL.
