What's New in GymMonk
1.1.1
October 20, 2026
New in this update: - Refreshed home screen with a cleaner, more modern look - Your real name now shows on the home screen instead of "GymMonk" - Muscle targets are now editable, so you can set your own goal per muscle group - Smoother, more responsive scrolling and navigation throughout the app - Fixed workout plans sometimes not loading your latest changes right away - Fixed an issue where logging a set from the Lock Screen or Back Tap could throw off superset order - Fixed cards being hard to see in light mode - Fixed a free trial issue where some users couldn't start their trial properly - Clearer, more honest pricing and trial details on the paywall - General bug fixes and performance improvements Gym check-in scans are noticeably faster and smoother, less lag while you pan the camera around the gym. Cleaned up hundreds of oddly-named exercises in search (no more "Barbell Jm Bench Press"). Simplified the unlock gestures — dropped the fiddly ones, so checking in is quick enough to do mid-set or on the treadmill. Fixed a bug where the paywall could get stuck with no way to back out. New: if you go 2 days without a gym visit, GymMonk gives you a nudge to get back in.
