About

NextRep is a private, offline training journal that keeps workout logging, recovery guidance and progress in one clear place—without an account or cloud backend. Log every set with weight, reps, RPE and notes in a clean set-by-set editor. Add or remove sets quickly, choose any workout date for past sessions, and review the calendar with detailed workout cards in the Journal. The Recovery map highlights muscles still in cooldown or rebuilding. Tap a muscle to see its estimated status, recent workload and next action, then explore exercise suggestions for muscle groups available to train. Recovery is estimated from logged sets, effort and time since training; it is guidance, not medical advice. Create custom exercises with searchable equipment and a visual body map for primary and secondary muscles. NextRep infers a useful category from your selections. Estimate 1RM from hard sets of 1–12 reps, use plate, body and other fitness calculators, and follow external load volume, bodyweight sets and reps, records, measurements and trends. Your training data stays on your device. NextRep works offline, requires no login and keeps you in control of exports, backups and device transfers. Built for strength training, bodybuilding, powerlifting, calisthenics and anyone who wants a clearer training history.

What's New in NextRep

1.0.12

July 27, 2026

More reliable logging, profile navigation, and feedback. - New exercise logs start with Set 1; add more sets only when needed, without undo/redo prompts. - Save now responds to every valid change, including valid zero-load entries. - Custom exercises require name, equipment, and muscles, with tracking presets inferred from the movement and equipment. - Improved Profile navigation performance and added a clear confirmation after body check-ins. - Added subtle haptics for tabs, set changes, saves, selections, and check-ins. - Workout title editing is now reliable and clearly marked as editable. - Fixed a crash when changing reps in saved exercises, aligned set controls, tightened numeric limits, and reduced unnecessary recalculation. - Load volume now consistently counts external resistance × reps, bodyweight exercises show reps clearly, and 1RM estimates are limited to dependable rep ranges.
