I love HEB. But this card is managed by Netspend. And it is super sensitive so that every time I try to transfer money to it so that I can buy groceries I have to call Netspend to get the account unlocked. I have a side gig that I also use this card for direct deposit so it’s very scary when they lock you out for no reason. The cash back is nice but it’s my recommendation that people only add the amount they are going to spend at HEB and to not put any more of your money on it than you need to buy your groceries. Don’t use it for direct deposit because you risk losing your money.

Can’t add funds
I want to use this debit account so badly so I can utilize the 5% cash back and be able to set aside money for groceries, but unfortunately I’ve never successfully added funds. Over the course of months I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app and removed my payment method and re-added it several times.

Transfers not going through
I like that I get money back with almost every purchase at HEB, but transferring money through the app is frustrating when it keeps giving an error message. It shows I can transfer $500 and when I try that amount I get an error. Then I try $400. Same error message. $300 same error message. I’ve found that only a smaller amount like $200 will go through. Why????? It’s so inconvenient to have to go Customer Service to deposit because the lines are ridiculously loooooong!!! And there are no app updates available. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

I’ve had my H‑E‑B debt card for 4 years now and I love it only concern I have and confused part is the cash back rewards only one store in San Antonio has redeemed my cash back the other stores are clueless even the managers are clueless other then that love my H-E-B oh one more thing wish y’all took United healthcare I have to go to Walmart uuuuhhhhhggggggg

The worst customer service
I love heb that being said this card is a nightmare for me. I can’t get ahold of a human most of the time because they hang up on me if the automated system doesn’t first. When I was able to though the once they claimed to fix my issue but never did. Horrible experience please switch to someone else.

Frustrated
The card is great, but the app, not so much. I struggle to add funds with my debit card every time. I finally resorted to using the website. The app won’t allow me to add money to my card. Very frustrating.
MY HEB
Love MY HEB every thing about is the best. HEB is the best I have had only a few troubled times with the app. As far as trying to transfer from my personal bank to HEB debit. Not sure what the issue Is there. It just gets stuck on a load screen. Other than that everything is great.

Was great until it wasn’t
I’ve been using the H-E-B debit card for three years now and love the cashback that it gives because I tend to buy H-E-B products anyway since I used to be a partner there. However, for the past month, I have made quite a few big purchases for holiday shopping and my son‘s first birthday and have missed out on big cashback savings because the ability to add funds to the card just stopped working for me. I’ve tried contacting support and they’ve just told me what the app already told me. That my app may not be fully updated, but I have already tried deleting and redownloading but nothing has allowed me to add funds to my debit card. Even tried ordering a new card and the same error STILL pops up. This app is now useless to me.

Disappointed
I called customer service twice now because I can’t transfer money over to the card. I’ve been told to update the new version but nowhere on the app does it give me the option to update. So, I’ve been stuck not able to use my card for months now, and lost many opportunities to save!
Can’t transfer money
Pointless to use the app when you try to transfer money it just stays stuck on the processing screen so you pretty much can’t use the card
Ugh
All of a sudden it will not let me make debit card transfers. Says I need to update app but the app is up to date.
