Hi, App ist wirklich toll. Funktioniert gut und Preis ist sehr fair. Eine tolle Sache wäre noch ein bildschirmschoner mit Foto Alben oder Webseite

Standby

Dienst verhindert den standby des Geräts und es wäre gut wenn man die Funktion ausschalten könnte da ich mit einem Bewegungsmelder das iPad aufwachen möchte damit das Display nicht dauerhaft an ist.

Tried this on two iPads IOS 17 and iOS 26. Works on both, but on both iPads, the option for a blank screen on sleep does not work, the screen remains lit. If you use the clock option, it will switch to that after no motion is detected and times out. It uses the iPads camera to do this. I would rather a blank screen aesthetically rather than the clock the app designer uses- or the option for different clock designs. like the other user I tried to contact the app developer, no response, I even tried his Facebook instagram linked in links he has on his website. Nope. Still for a couple of bucks, it’s pretty good and worth supporting for people like him to make things like this.

Thanks for the detailed feedback and for testing on multiple iPads — much appreciated. Sorry about the lack of response earlier: your Instagram message seems to have landed in the spam / message-requests section, which I unfortunately don’t always get notified about. Regarding the blank screen option: unfortunately iOS does not allow apps to fully turn off the display via code. The clock view is currently the closest workaround Apple allows while keeping the app active. That said, I understand the aesthetic preference and alternative clock styles are a good idea. Thanks again for supporting the app and for the constructive feedback 🙏

Honest price and good functionalities

It’s way cheaper than other apps and it works well. I use it on an iPad 6th generation to display Immich Frame or HA dashboards.

Great

Works well with Home assistant and kiosk mode. Nothing to configure and wake the device is reactive 👍
💡improvement ideas : on my iPhone XS, I have 2 black on left and right. So I lose a little bit of space. I don’t have this issue on safari.
Other thing : customize text when is device is sleeping, remove seconds, turn off the screen, ..

Thank you so much for the review! I’m really glad to hear HAkiosk works well for your Home Assistant setup and that the wake feature feels responsive. Thanks also for the improvement suggestions — they’re super helpful. The black bars on the sides of your iPhone XS shouldn’t be there (need to test on that specific device), so I’ll look into adjusting the layout so it uses the full screen like Safari does. And I like your ideas about customizing the sleep text, hiding seconds, or even turning off the screen — all great enhancements for kiosk mode.
