Thanks for the detailed feedback and for testing on multiple iPads — much appreciated. Sorry about the lack of response earlier: your Instagram message seems to have landed in the spam / message-requests section, which I unfortunately don’t always get notified about. Regarding the blank screen option: unfortunately iOS does not allow apps to fully turn off the display via code. The clock view is currently the closest workaround Apple allows while keeping the app active. That said, I understand the aesthetic preference and alternative clock styles are a good idea. Thanks again for supporting the app and for the constructive feedback 🙏

💡improvement ideas : on my iPhone XS, I have 2 black on left and right. So I lose a little bit of space. I don’t have this issue on safari.
Other thing : customize text when is device is sleeping, remove seconds, turn off the screen, ..

Thank you so much for the review! I’m really glad to hear HAkiosk works well for your Home Assistant setup and that the wake feature feels responsive. Thanks also for the improvement suggestions — they’re super helpful. The black bars on the sides of your iPhone XS shouldn’t be there (need to test on that specific device), so I’ll look into adjusting the layout so it uses the full screen like Safari does. And I like your ideas about customizing the sleep text, hiding seconds, or even turning off the screen — all great enhancements for kiosk mode. If you notice anything else or have more suggestions, feel free to reach out. I really appreciate the feedback!
Does not work, zero response from author
This app doesn’t work: All fonts are much larger and overlapping that in normal app/web browser.
The zoom setting is ignored.
Not possible to reload the page.
All of this wouldn’t be so bad of there would be at least an answer from the author. Over the course of the last few months I contacted multiple times and did not get even a courtesy response. It’s a black hole.
Very disappointed and regretful getting this app.

Hi SteveCreek, I’m really sorry to hear about your experience — that’s definitely not how HAkiosk is supposed to work. I also want to clarify that I haven’t received any emails or LinkedIn messages from you, so I’m concerned that something may have gone wrong with the communication channel. I’d really like to get this resolved for you. Could you please let me know which device model and iOS version you’re using? Es freut mich sehr zu hören, dass die Präsenzerkennung, die Standby-Uhr und das automatische Herunterskalieren auf deinem iPad so gut funktionieren. Die Idee eines automatischen Seiten-Reloads in einem einstellbaren Intervall ist super hilfreich – vielen Dank dafür! Ich habe diesen Wunsch bereits auf meiner Liste und werde prüfen, wie ich ihn am besten integrieren kann, damit sich Inhalte auch ohne Tab-Wechsel zuverlässig aktualisieren. Watching a view with camera feeds will make the app crash
When watching a view with about 6 cameras views, the app will crash.
It works fine in Safari and the original HA app so it’s something unique to this app.
It’s a great concept of an app, but unfortunately realisation leaves things to be desired. And as it is, it’s not usable for me when it worked just fine at first

Sorry, there was a faulty release what has been fixed for now. Please update to the latest version, if still facing any problems report back to me.

Good except for one thing
I use this to lock the family to one dashboard to keep it simple
The one issue is full screen items have the close/back button in the top corner under the time and can’t be clicked. You need to completely close the app when opening more-info. Until this is fixed, it’s almost impossible to use
