I’ve never left a review before but I really had to for this. No where in their terms does it say you can’t bring any snowboarding/ski gear. I had a lesson that morning, taxi pulls up, tells me no. Said I can’t bring my stuff? I said I really need to get to my lesson he said “don’t care call a taxi” YOU ARE A TAXI?!

Cannot receive SMS
Seems like a great service but cannot receive SMS on American number. Also doesn’t make any sense to input phone number OR email as alternative then have to verify email with a phone number that you know can’t get the SMS.
Huge bugs and basically non functioning
It’s really sad and inconvenient that Hakuba makes such a good effort to do this taxi service yet this terrible Singaporean developer made an app that doesn’t function for 90% of the tourists who come to Japan. It requires a mobile number to register but only sends OTP to Japan and Australian numbers so the rest of the tourists that come to Japan and Hakuba to enjoy the warm hospitality are complete prevented from using the service. Way to go SWAT Mobility for your complete lack of mobility for every day users.

This app worked so well for us
You have to be able to receive a text message with a code, which I could with my Australian number, and then use data. We ordered our rides at 9am each morning for our dinners out. They were always on time, clean and friendly. So glad we found this app. Much better than trying to call a taxi.
Great idea but
I would love to use this service but I can’t register with my Australian mobile.
Useless
I attempted to get this app to use the night bus, but I only had a travel Sim card with data only. When I started to register on the app, I opted for the email, but then after I had verified my email,it would not let me complete my registration without an SMS verification, which would not work because of the data only sim. as a result, it was complete waste of time.

phone number issue
I’ve previously tried to make an account with my US phone number. Now, I am having difficulty logging back in- the app constantly says my phone number has already been used.
When I tried logging in using my US phone number, the app assumed my number and was a Canadian number- I was unable to receive the SMS text for the code to verify despite trying multiple times.
Not sure how to contact Support or Customer Service.

Can’t receive SMS message
Would really like to use the app but I can’t receive SMS messages from the app. I can receive SMS messages from other apps
Mobile number required
You need either a Japanese SIM with an active mobile number, or your local SIM with expensive roaming turned on. Otherwise you’re out of luck.
Great service!
Very convenient for getting around Hakuba at night. It can be used with non-Japanese phone numbers, just update the international dialling code when you sign up. App is very easy to use.
Great upgrade to the previous night shuttle
Keep in mind an active sim is required to set up an account with security verification and data access is needed to use the app. Great point to point on demand taxi service from set pick up locations throughout Hakuba, longest wait time 15mins. Other reviews stating Japanese sim required, +61 number was accepted for me.
