UNRELIABLE
Can someone please explain to me what a baby monitor is useful for if it doesn’t even wake you up when the baby is awake and disconnects 24/7 with no audible notification? This product is basically useless and I am so disappointed. I don’t feel safe leaving my baby in his nursery by himself because the monitor we spent an untold amount of money on has absolutely zero features to alarm me if anything is wrong other than lighting up my phone screen. I feel scammed.. in the beginning he would just nap in his crib during the day and we would lose signal literally two to three times during a few hour nap but I would always hear him wake up and that wasn’t a problem.. now that he is older, it’s time for him to transition into his room by himself and this monitor does nothing to notify you about your baby other than light up or screen. No alarm, no ring chime, no vibration, nothing. Please explain to me how this is useful? That contradicts the purpose of the entire product. I’ve never been so disappointed in my life. This is the first actual bad review I’ve ever written and I’m actually furious this product is even on the market and no one is warned about its lack of reliability. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

Love the monitor and app, still room for improvement
I’m a nurse and did quite a bit of research into home monitors for babies, my nursing friend used the OWL competitor and said it would falsely alarm frequently enough it wasn’t worth the purchase. My first child was a NICU baby and I was stressed. I think this is the best home monitor
On the market by far. I like the functionality, how easy it is to put on my kiddo, I like the ability to change the range limit for vitals, so cool. I also think it’s accurate, and because of the simple design it stays on my kids ankle. Best part it doesn’t falsely alarm. The first night it was on my kiddo I slept so well, I think the app is fairly new, and all things considered it’s great. Here’s my feed back on the app after using the monitor about a month.
I like tracking feeds. I found out the hard way when you start the timer and leave the app, the timer times out. I wish it didn’t do that, while baby was eating I needed to take a call and use my phone for other things. I got back in the app and had no idea how long I had been breast feeding.
My nursery is just close enough to my room where the hub is currently that it loses connection to the hub briefly and prompts me to use travel mode a LOT. Once I put it in travel mode I want it to stay there, as a safety feature you could prompt a timer. Also what happens is i move around the house with my sleeping kid and it reconnects to the hub but once im out of range again and i dont check the app I dont realize its not connected to travel mode, so its no longer monitoring. You could also put a safety feature so when it isn’t close enough to the phone in travel mode even though the timer on travel mode is going that’s overridden and the hub can connect. Lots of safety options the developer could use.
Every once in a while the monitor says it’s connected, and I check that it’s secure on my kids ankle, but it’s not recording vitals in the app, I usually have to manually override this by docking the monitor on the hub. I think this was fixed in the latest update because I haven’t seen it. Fingers crossed.
I think it would be a good safety feature to give the option to alarm in settings when the monitor is disconnected or dead battery and not reading/recording. Onetime it was connected with lots of battery and not reading/recording in the app, and my kid was sleeping it was off all night. Nothing happened, but now i always charge and redock before bed because of it.
Overall I love this monitor and recommend using the apps

Unfortunately a useless product/app
I really wanted this product to be great and to be an alternative to an Owlet, but it's not the case and anyone who wants to be able to monitor their child all night knowing they're safe needs to look elsewhere.
First, for hours at a time, the app reads "Gathering Data" rather than showing the vitals (heart rate, oxygen). So it just doesn't work consistently.
And even worse, if the ankle monitor falls off during the night, there is no alert for the parents! You can be sleeping and the monitor falls off, and you will have no idea that your child is not being monitored.
I asked customer service how on earth it doesn't have some audible alert to wake the parents and let them know that the monitor isn't working, and their response was that we should wake up throughout the night to confirm that it's attached.
Just an insanely bad oversight that makes the entire product useless. The whole point is being able to have your child's vitals monitored while they're sleeping. If suddenly that monitoring stops and we have no way of knowing if we are also sleeping, that's a disaster waiting to happen.
