Quite basic
I registered for the app relatively easily and was pleased to be able to check payments in and out without the hassle of having the card reader to hand. However, although you can see what the balance of the account is on the date that you access the app, I can’t find a way of checking what it was an any other time. Usually I balance my figures at the end of the month and the website shows the balance of the account after every payment in and out (like pretty much every other banking app - and I have several) but despite my best efforts I can’t find a way to access statements or check the balance at any day other than the exact time I’m using the app. I know with some banks (HSBC for example) certain things can only be done on the website and not the app, like setting up or editing standing orders. Other apps do everything so you don’t need the website, like Halifax. This app seems to do nothing except show transactions and not even a running account balance so it’s back to using the card reader to keep on top of my accounts unfortunately, until they develop this app a bit more.

Works great

Poor
Can only operate from 1 device.
Will not allow addition of new payees - has to be done on the main website.

Awful
Apps are supposed to streamline things and make them simple. A Rubik’s cube would be simpler to solve.
This makes me feel like switching banks.

Unable to use
This is pretty awful. The registration is more complex than you would expect (needs a cabled connection from a PC to the card reader to register a mobile PIN), but now just gives me a spinning “dandelion of death” after I log in and no information.
Absolutely Awful
In 2020 this is completely unacceptable for a banking mobile app. It’s basically a web app that can do about four things. It’s a nightmare to log into, no faceid. A silly password system that’s separate for the webpage online banking. The browser online banking is just as bad. Get with the times! Have you tried Revolut’s app or even Barclays? This is app is like using windows 95. What a joke.
