So much potential
Really bad layout, and with AI and everything and all the hype around hatch on tiktok you’d think they’d have a better system. There should be more features. Off the top of my head: lamp option w all the diff types of lights, a morning routine bc the night ones I fall asleep before I actually digest something useful. I could go on.

WiFi connecting within the app is awful, customer service is atrocious and this product hatch rest 2 is terrible. If you’re reading this it’s probably too late and you bought it, return it now and save the headache
Bugs in app
I have my font size set for one size above half on my iOS. You have to go into settings and reduce the size to the size just below half to make any type of adjustments so you see what you’re doing. This wouldn’t be a big problem if my eyesight was better but everyone gets older. Also it will not accept edits for bedtime and rise times.

Worst ever
The Hatch is absolutely not worth the money. I regret purchasing it. The app is impossible to use. It is bogged down with promotional information trying to force you into their subscriptions. Today a banner for a sale for some subscription blocked the whole app and I couldn’t change my child’s hatch to the wake up setting. Making it impossible to actually use a physical product in order to try to upsell their customers on a pointless subscription service is infuriating.

Needs to adjust the slider buttons
We love the hatch baby machine itself, but the app has a few issues that need to be worked out. One, it loads the main screen every time you go to it, which delays adjustments, which in the middle of the night, seconds are precious. The main issue I have is the slider buttons. So many times I have gone to adjust the light button in the middle of the night and it will also adjust the sound even without sliding it. It is very jarring when the sound jumps that much and has awoken my baby multiple times. Would love to see a different way to adjust or spaced out better.
