So slow
This app is so bad
Offline situation
I think we’re past the issues w/ the iOS 26 jump
I must be in another loop where I have to update my phone. Hatch has disconnected. I cannot get it connected to WiFi to connect the app. It’s frustrating that is so depends on the wifi connection. Since I wake up at different times week to week, I just shut off the alarm with the hard switch. It wil still my windown routine at 9:00 PM, and the two other ones I set up after. I can still have my waves overnight. But still, it’s not working as intended. I hate that 1 update or me owning an SE Apple phone causes me to have an app breaking experience. Sigh.

Update since the developers reached out to me: Five stars, all is well. I have Rise set to wake a little later just in case. But so far Hatch has woken me up every day. I didn’t even remember that I was having an issue!
I like the cue setting. I’d like it more if we could rotate through presets like we do with the bedtime routines. Sometimes I just want to push play.
I have 3 bedtime routines and I love it. One I use every night, the others are a different vibe, brightness and length if I want to switch it up or use on the weekends. Having a strict 10 min + 10 min routine is helping me get sleepy. Then on the weekends, I can relax a little longer.
I didn’t know if this would end up feeling like a gimmick. I think the jury is still out on things like blue blockers, but as someone with ADHD, 4 concussions and a decade of not knowing any of the science at all- adding this to my life has been a game changer. I smiled every night when I headed to bed the first week. I kid you not. It gave me a routine, a ritual. I can’t believe I survived my 20’s. And 5 1/2 years of chronically, miserably sick. It’s so nice to feel like my life and my heart and my peace are falling into place. I was lost for so many years. And now we have such an exchange of ideas and can live better, simpler, happier. And Hatch has become a joyful part of that.
****************
I’ll be nice because I have a feeling iOS 26 has screwed up my phone. Apps keep crashing. Same with Hatch last night. But what Hatch just did was not the alarm setup I had. There was no light. Only gentle piano music. I had the light set for Iike 27. The alarm had no light. Sigh. Now I’ll be late for work.
Great Alarm, Terrible Delivery
The subscription is what ruins it. This is already an expensive alarm clock, yet so many alarm sounds and features are locked behind a monthly fee. You’re pushed into starting a free trial with your credit card, and when it ends, the free experience is extremely limited.
It’s also frustrating that the free and paid content is mixed together, making it difficult to tell what you can actually use without subscribing.
I wanted to love this product, but I’m honestly considering getting rid of it because of the subscription model. The hardware deserves 5 stars. The greedy subscription ruins it all.
Good machine would like to have jacuzzi sound.
Good product
Accounts are mandatory
Crashing app and slow
Painful buggy experiences
I also try to toggle alarms on or off, and they don’t move to be inactive or active. Then I quit the app and reopen and it shows that it actually did move to be on/off (whichever I selected). It’s unreliable. I am shocked if I can just toggle one of my alarms to be on and it automatically moves to the active section and saves.
If I tried to turn two alarms on at once, I sometimes just see the error “ try again later” or “oops” without clear indications of what’s happening.
Love the alarm clock hate the app
App won’t connect to hatch often
Trash experience
Randomly stops working
It would be nice if it worked
The gradual light starts way too bright unless I put brightness to 5, and then it barely gets light enough.
The subscription is obnoxious after already buying an expensive unit. Stop being greedy when you can’t even create a reliable app. I might pay for it if it did what I program it to do but it doesn’t.
dig the product, loath the app
Problems
So mad!
This is the worst app I’ve ever used
Almost Perfect!!!
1. When I turn the switch off on the alarm, it deletes it. I had my alarm set perfectly to my standards for waking up, and when I had a day off, there is a switch to toggle it on or off and there is a different switch to delete it. So when I clicked the toggle it deleted my alarm.
2. I had a Kids Rest + for years because I really never felt like getting another one. Now, when I upgraded to a Restore 3, the lullaby sound wasn’t there anymore. I know that’s pretty foolish to say as a 15 year old, but hey, that lullaby really put me to sleep!!!
Other than that the app and product are amazing!! Great work developers and keep working hard! 👍🏻
