App Glitches
App wont open / load. I’m loosing sleep with the amount of time it takes for me to just set a simple alarm
Difficult app
Hatch device itself is great. The app is confusing and difficult to use. Recently it doesn’t open and I have to uninstall it and reinstall it just to set the alarm on the device I paid hundreds for when I’m trying to go to bed. You should be able to set the alarm from the device itself (especially since a huge selling point is getting away from having the phone at the bedside), have a reliable app, and the app should show how many hours of sleep you’ll get like the Apple Sleep/Wake Up alarm does.

Didn’t function
App no longer opens
The app used to be slow and glitchy and now it no longer opens. For the cost of this alarm clock, I would like to be able to set the wake up alarms and use the features without the constant inconveniences this app creates
Get something else
Go somewhere else for sound machines. This one is constantly trying to upsell you and the app doesn’t even connect to their “go” device. I thought I would have one hub for everything but it’s just more expensive.
App not working
For the last month the app doesn't open half the time I try to click on it, just stays stuck on the start up screen. It's been annoying to have to get up to go and do the buttons manually and I can't change my alarms when the app doesn't open so it's been waking me up every day
So. Many. Bugs.
It’s a miracle if I stay on the app for longer than a minute. App cannot execute any functions when it comes to deleting or turning off alarms. Hatch pls ask if your dev team is ok.

Force you sign up for a free trial and connect your credit card just to use the app
Love Hate Relationship
I love my hatch - from the wind down to the different alarms I can set. I hate the app. It crashes often. Consistently won’t open. I have to restart my phone multiple times to get the app to open.
Odd marketing
I do enjoy this cool smart alarm as an idea. It seems so calming as you can customize everything. Although I was very disappointed when I soon noticed that many of the customizable features where locked behind hatch plus. If you sell a 160 dollar alarm clock, why should you have to pay for premium. It’s complete bs it’s like offering a subscription for a calendar app. One who’s buying that, 2 it’s a complete waste. The app also glitched so much! I feel anyone who advertised for you is a liar might be one of the most inconvenient things made for a supposed smart alarm.

Barely works
You have to restart the app anytime you want to use it. It’s the worst.
App is trash
I like the alarm clock but the app crashes constantly and it’s pretty much impossible to use the alarm clock fully without the app. They seriously need fix the bugs in the app
Lots of bugs and glitches
I’ve had this app for years and it constantly has bugs where when I try to open the app it doesn’t load. Everytime this happens the only thing that fixes it is fully deleting the app and redownloading it which is frustrating
Useless subscription
Love paying for a monthly subscription that doesn’t allow you to use the “play from anywhere” option or even show it on the “updated” app
Freezing
I used to love this app. I love my alarm clock, it’s great. But the app constantly freezes and takes multiple close and opening to work. It just freezes on the open screen. I also noticed my Home Screen widget hardly updates anymore. It will say no alarm when one is set. I’m not sure why the quality has went so downhill.

Can’t skip the subscription?
I just bought my Hatch and cannot skip the option for the subscription. Disappointing. The advice online is sign up and then cancel right away. I don’t want to enter my cc information and turn around and cancel.. haven’t had a product force this before and it’s disappointing.
Garbage Software, pay 2 play alarms
Absolutely horrible software. User interface sucks, application crashes when I try to delete or add more than 1 alarm. They deleted a bunch of the alarm noises so you have to pay for any of the ones that aren’t birds chirping basically. Absolutely garbage company with a $180 product that wants you to purchase an additional software subscription for alarm noises. Don’t bother

Buggy but I have routine now!
The app itself is so buggy & laggy, if removing animations or sleeker interface means quicker tap reactions then I’ll take it! Considering you pay monthly for even the basics I’d say I’d like to see them update it with more options more often? Either way I now have a better sleep routine so the proof is there it works as a product!
