Both Haven apps

The apps are not user friendly at all. Yesterday it took over 1hr 10 to order and that was only because I gave up and ordered at the bar. Today instead of trying to log in at the end of the order as it seemed to be asking me to,( I was presented with a log in screen but my details were not found). This time I selected to continue as a guest. It seems to have worked. It was not clear that’s what was required which was very confusing.

Delivery

We have not received our drinks and dip that are part of our order. Our order was late by more than 20 minutes completely wrong forgot drinks and dips , this is completely unacceptable I am so disappointed and so are my children, this was a one off treat on holiday for my family and I have been very disappointed by the service from papa johns at hafon y mor haven , will not be ordering again if service will not improve !!!!! #disappointed #getbetter

Viewing menu

Found it quite hard first time using this app. Every time I chose a different restaurant I had to put in caravan name and mob number to just view what was on a menu, having decided to check another menu it was the same! Decided to go with my first choice of restaurant but again had to go through it all again to order.
Might be easier to be able to view what’s available on each of the menus before having to enter your caravan number etc.

Good concept but some issues with ordering

Convenient and easy to start using.

Frustrating that it doesn’t hold the delivery time when selected and doesn’t give you an easy edit so you have to go to the beginning again.
Also if you have a haven serve food and drink card you have to go out of the app to find the details which meant I had to go back to beginning again.

Disapointing

My elderly dad was frozen and we had to sit outside due to no actual indoor bar area, and were unable to actually book a seat in doors.

When we eventually got into the show-bar started to queue at 4.40 for drinks and team member advised us ti use the app, however after leaving the queue tried to use the app, which wasn't online which the team member apologised and reset the connection at the bar.

We also had an issue when buying a pass b4 we arrived and were only allowed to purchase 5 even though we were a group of 6, when we tried to buy an additional pass when we arrived only to be told they were no longer allocating due to full capacity in the show-bar
Really frustrating as 1 family member could no longer join the rest of our night.

Couldn’t order to correct address

I’m staying on the touring field and the pitch number I was at couldn’t be found in the app. I had to just pick a number and hope that the people there were honest and the delivery person would call me! On my own with my disabled daughter and dog, so I was counting on being able to order food.

Not bad but excludes crucial details

Tried using it several times (for table service and also site delivery) but gave up because items on the menu were missing from the app and also they don’t provide delivery to the tourer section of the site (kiln park Tenby) that I was staying in. No-One could explain why. On third day and attempt I tried click and collect from Papa Johns. Collect for 8 but good wasn’t ready until 8:30 so all in all it hasn’t been a great experience. Good idea but hasn’t been carried through to the end

Unable to add new payment card

I recently had a haven holiday and was unable to log my new card payment details to the app, it kept saying try again later, I spent ages/days trying to get it to load but unfortunately it wouldn’t, even the staff were unable to help as they didn’t understand the app.

We’re due to go away again next month and the app still will not allow me to add my bank card to it, it’s still saying try again later. I’ve been trying to add a payment card (over the last 5 weeks) and it’s still not accepting it. I even tried uploading my credit card, that didn’t work either.

I’ve got 6 weeks until our next haven holiday, but to be honest, I doubt it’ll be up and running by then either 🤷

And yes, I’ve reinstalled it to see if that helped….. no, it didn’t.

Annoying

So annoying that you go to your order, then have to sign in at the end, then wait for an email to verify which takes ages to come through. Finally managed to place order. Yesterday it wouldn’t even enable us to place the order twice and we ended up going to the bar.

If you are going to use an app make it easier to use please to make it worthwhile going through the app! At the moment it is not simple, too many verification points

Still no option to save owner/privilege card?

This app has made it so much better since it’s launch 4years ago. No queuing at the bar! Easy to see menu & prices and you know if something is not available.

But why can I still not save my owners card, having to enter it every time is just crazy!

Also I need of a comments section so the poor staff don’t have to keep coming back with a jug of water!

Pretty Poor for These Days

App works well in some cases, however you need to be aware of a few things:

It doesn't work in all areas of the park,

Not all restaurants and facilities are in the app despite on park saying u can use it.. eg in some restaurants.

The owner discount can only be used once.
On your first order, and not in subsequent orders.. for eg:
Ordering food (get discount) but then when you want to order drinks it says can only use owners discount voucher once, so no discount applied.

It doesn't help when you ask staff they say they are having issues with the app, but you have to ask to find this out. There is no signage at all to asvise about this.

Some restaurants are named incorrectly on the app.. for eg in Lakeland… the Lakeside Bar comes up as the Barrel and Mash. The app tells you you are not in there, but when you scan the tables it says you are??

Given how long they have had to sort these issues out its a poor do to find out for yourself there are issues with the app.

Terrible app

Choose your time slot before ordering and then as you go to pay the slots not available and takes you to start the order again. Tried to use Apple Pay but this failed and then had to restart order again missing the slot I wanted so then had to start again. When selecting basket to pay all 3 orders totalled up I then had to delete and double check my whole order. Would be much easier to say time slot not available but your order is saved please choose another time.

Meh

Only one choice of food places which is disappointing. Very clunky to use app with too many options. Constantly getting spammed to save the venue as a ‘favourite’. And payment through Apple Pay failed as it was asking for my surname even though all my details were updated ! I didn’t change anything and tried a second time after going through all the options again and it eventually worked. Very annoying.

Excellent service

Used the table service for the first time and it came very quickly and was delivered by Wayne who was lovely and friendly.
When ordering at the bar the staff were great and just seemed happy to be here and were happy to explain how the app worked and talk me through different cocktails. Very impressed :)

Unable to place order due to low signal

The mobile data was poor and therefore I couldn’t place the order. Unfortunately even in the shop itself they were not allowed to place an order. So I just had to try to find signal, then I had to wait 45 mins to pick up my food even though there was no one in the shop and I was stood outside! Just seemed silly

Incredibly stressful!

We just wanted to order drinks but this has nearly ruined our holiday! The first evening my parents couldn’t order drinks as they don’t have a mobile phone and were shocked to be told they could not order any drinks in any of the bars without using the app.
I have tried to get the app so I can get all of us drinks and thirsty children needing drinks, to be told I didn’t have the right app and needed the serve app instead.
It’s taken me about an hour to get all this sorted all while not having much signal or battery and now we are all really stressed!
We will be writing to Haven Head Office to express our thoughts on this.
We have never encountered a situation like this before.
It’s also nice to be able to up to the bar and speak to the staff.

Now working

Put a review complaining that it wasn’t updating the drinks orders so we had to keep going into each individual section. It was only orders from weeks ago. But since my review it has cleared my old orders and my most recent orders are now on the app
How’s that for service 😁

Don’t bother

Well we booked a table at Weymouth bay for our wedding anniversary, easy. But after being seated and left at the table for 33 minutes without drinks we decided to leave. I was unable to locate table 20 on the app to order drinks which I thought would bring someone over but was unable to do so. Wedding anniversary meal was a papa John’s pizza. Will not be using the bar or restaurant again. The restaurant is only half full I would say, but they are run off there feet serving drinks & food to the lucky few

A efficient way

A really good way of ordering and it tells when they don’t have anything so there is no disappointment of not having what you want and no running back to ask for another option, so it’s really efficient

So Convenient!

This app is brilliant! Being able to order drinks from the bar direct to your table without having to wait in a long queue is super convenient especially when you have little kiddies with you. So handy as well being able to order Papa Johns pizza to your table so you can sit and enjoy the entertainment without having to nip off to get food.
