Worst app ever
This app and the devices are honestly USELESS. They work once paired which takes forever to do and once they unpair (pwr outage etc) you have to go through this nightmare all over again - I do not recommend this App or the products from HBN unless you want to get frustrated beyond belief. How can they sell such sub-par devices

Bad Product/App
Tried connecting their WiFi plug to their app. Did not work. Plug did not have a reset button yet every option to connect with plug requested to press and hold reset button that was not there

This app has been able to connect to every WiFi enabled device I’ve attempted. That sounds simple but was tougher to find than I anticipated It’s easy to operate, I’m happy with it
Broken by update
App updates lose all your devices which is bad enough, but the latest one won't readd them. Still, it's fun entering your WIFI SSID 17 times.
Worked at old home
The smart plug is great when it works. It stops working after I move to a new home. I tried to reset, reconnect to WiFi with the same carrier, tried everything but none works, it become a manual control plug.

String light issues
After many attempts, I wasn't able to connect the string light to the iPhone. Perhaps 2.5 GHz or 5 GHz issues but neither one I was able to achieve the connection. Even after scanning the barcode and reading the small prints on the book instruction card, nothing works.

I love the program. Works great. If i had a request, it wold be to add iwatch functions. Or possibly a contact switch to activate a light. Possible use, when my mother gets up in the middle of the night it will alert me if shr goes out side.

Latest version includes new bugs
Downloaded the latest version and it does not update. I turn the switch on and set to turn off in 15 minutes. The switch does turn off but the app still shows it’s on until you completely close out the app and restart

This product is SO easy to set up and use. Love being able to set up, monitor and change from my phone. Had one unplugged for Christmas lights since last year. Just plugged back up and instantly connected again and the name front porch lights popped up. Have four of these. Use all year for inside lamp and lights for back yard. Use seasonly for Christmas lights and heat lamps for feral outdoor cats.

Highly Recommend
I use this timer for my pool filter and a solar heater. On cloudy and or rainy days I can turn off the heater from the comfort of my living room. This timer offers so many options and the fact that I can control it globally is fantastic. Having the two outlets is like a two for one. You will not be disappointed. If there is anything less than five stars, it is probably user error. Thanks for reading.

So my son (12 yrs old) never “hears” his alarm! So I redid his room today and added the smart socket to his bedroom light. With the automation feature I was able to set his light on a schedule!! Love this because that’s the one thing that wakes him up! I don’t have to go in there anymore and flip the light! We also have one in our bedroom and one in the living room. We love these sockets. Very helpful when our hands are full of groceries or our bags from work and we need the lights.
