A decent app but how it works ?!

I enjoyed using the application, it’s a good source of information for your health and symptoms. You can explore what’s going on in your body! But I can’t understand how it works? What are the main mechanisms behind it and how it analyzes my data.

Waste of money, gained nothing from this app

So what did the symptom assessment say?
“Sorry, I can't find any information about the symptoms you've told us. Please see a doctor.”

That was it. They weren’t crazy symptoms, pretty standard. So what exactly are people actually paying for?

Don’t bother. Just ask chatGPT

This app is sexist - AVOID

I input my symptoms, said I was assigned female at birth, it asked me a range of questions which felt relevant then I was asked if I have been tearful a lot lately. Got to the end, and it suggested *premenstrual syndrome*. I was incredibly insulted by this as I actually have a Vitamin B12 deficiency and my periods are normal, I was merely testing the app’s knowledge, I know what’s wrong with me.

I suspected if I was male it would give a different outcome. I ran another test, I input all my same symptoms, answered the questions the same, this time stated I was male. Surprise surprise it recommended I may have hyperthyroidism which is far more closely related to my symptoms and my existing condition, I also have hyperthyroidism running in the family.

Imagine going to a real life doctor with all your concerns and because you appear female they turn around and patronisingly suggest PMS. A waste of time and money. Do not bother.

You also cannot track your diet by means of a food diary, the custom trackers are extremely limited in what you can do with them. Absolutely not worth the subscription price.

Rubbish

I was disappointed when I opened the app thinking it was free. You have to pay or u can’t use the app. I’m sure the app itself is fine but don’t be fooled into thinking it’s free.

Disappointing

I found this app when searching online for a week-by-week fitness plan; a 12 week plan combining couch to 5k and some other podcasts (which I thought would be available through the app) caught my attention so I purchased the app. However, on opening the app I found it really hard to even find the article I’d seen online and, when I eventually did, none of the article links showing you how to do the exercises or download the podcasts work. Very frustrating! Turns out (after a lot of googling) that they have lifted the article text verbatim from another website and ALL of the plan podcasts/info is available for free through NHS choices!!

If you’re after an app that reminds you to exercise and asks you to note how you’re feeling that day, then I guess this works for that. I personally don’t think that’s worth £30 a year. But if you’ve come to it because of an article on the livehealthily.com website then I’d urge you to keep googling as it’s likely the info is available for free elsewhere.

Good app but disappointing

Disappointing that the app won’t sync with Apple Health on on exercise minutes despite turning the setting on/off many times. Definitely frustrating as this was the only reason I select this app to try.

great app

just wish it was free

Used to be a good free app..

Now you’re forcing a subscription on us and you won’t even allow us to request our data? Terrible.

Great app

It’s great app remained you about your own health.Only good physical and mental health is guaranty for good successful days !

Sleep

I like the way I can keep an eye on how I’m sleeping xx

Best health app

One of the best apps!!! Not only am I tracking everything important to my health and well-being like sleep, sleep quality, exercise, meditation and anything else I can think about but you can easily and reliable check your symptoms or anything that is bothering you… not to mention great articles that support healthy living. A great resource for wellness… highly recommended to help living a healthy life.

Healthily

Very informative and interesting

Helpfu app!

Very useful app to get the reliable health information ! Very clear advise on what to do if you feel unwell!

Very helpful for my self care

I am tracking my health everyday and make an effort to follow the excellent tips that come through the app every day. Highly recommended. Very useful.

Best health tracker I’ve used to date

I’ve used a lot of health tracking-type apps but this app here takes the cake… just try it and see for yourself!

DID NOT WORK!

Every single time I tried to open, “Error….” And since I could NEVER open it, even tried online through a browser, NOTHING. And I flippin paid for a year. Boy was I stupid.

Requires subscription

Doesn’t even seem to have any basics without a subscription. Should have to buy before downloading as it’s pointless to download.

Tracking helps me reflect on my health

Taking the time to sit down and think about my health and it’s role in my day. It has helped me to confront and attack a lot of the problems with my health and live a better life overall.

Tons of misses

This app has a lot of promise based on the UI but way too many issues.
1) For some reason you can’t edit the actual initial setup of a goal afterward (like the icon or color, or scale). Yes you can adjust the goal metrics but what if I want to change how it’s configured?
2) There are two seemingly “default” goals (mood and energy). I didn’t see how to delete them, but rather “hide them”. Hiding them made them disappear into somewhere I wouldn’t know where to look if I wanted them shown again.
3) Metric scale doesn’t have ability to count 0 (therefore making something like counting number of drinks, with 0 being the goal, impossible.
4) Even the feedback form in the app seems faulty. Tried to use it but every time I tried to press return for a new bullet the form disappeared. Unsure if it was submitting or just closing out.
5) The graphs are a good start but I’d like to see a daily chart as well, not just weekly or monthly.

For a paid app this just falls way short.
Canceled my trial.
