Did my very 1st event the system does not work, kept crashing and none of my credit card transactions,contactless pay or nothing went through! I basically gave away all of my products for free and I lost so much time and money

This app literally DOES NOT WORK. The Heartland ECSI website will not accept payment and keeps giving me errors over and over so I tried downloading the app but it will not even allow me to sign in. I type in username and password and it doesn’t even fill in the button to sign in. I try multiple times, even deleting and re-downloading the app but it will not work no matter what I try. Then I try the help line and it’s disconnected. This app and Heartland ECSI is a complete joke!!! If they want my money at least make it possible for me to give it to them!!! I’ve tried everything and cannot set up recurring payments. They want to make you pay month to month to charge you and extra fee. The creators of the website and this app should be FIRED!!!

Quick/Easy, Can send invoices, too !
This is very user friendly. As soon as you download and log in, you’re ready to process. I love sending my invoices through this app as well!! Great product.
Apriva not meeting customer needs
Heartland is a great company that will go out of the way to help you. UNFORTUNATELY, Heartland uses Apriva to do the software side of the application. They are less than helpful and rude. The wait time is outrageous and issues are given a “ticket” that even takes longer.

Useless software. Complete failure when the customer needs help other software that doesn’t work. Customer support tells my items an app vendor problem. No, I worked there at Heartland, I know the backend systems, I wrote mobile apps for a living. This is “your” problem heartland. Not you app vendor. Leaving ASAP.

This system doesn’t work
Im a cashier and i been dealing with this system for the last 3 days and is horrible!!!
Do not use! False confirmation pages!
Made several sales during an internet outage. We had customer signatures on screen and got what appeared to be a confirmation page. After a few minutes we double checked batches and only ONE charge had processed. We lost several hundred dollars in sales and product. If they screen shows a confirmation it should be screen shot or downloaded. No reason to have a customer sign before hand. Will use Square for mobile transactions from now on.

Leaving Heartland
Went to charge a customer and app says I need an update. Tried to update but need iOS 13. So frustrating!
This app is god awful
It constantly glitches out and has server problems. Working at a high volume restaurant, this is unacceptable so if you’re a busy place, I highly recommend just getting something else cause this will give you nothing but a constant headache
User friendly
Very user friendly app. Good to use when credit card machines are down and need a backup.
Kicked me out
The system for some reason kicked me out and I have been trying to get back in for 3 weeks. Everything they have tried is not working.
Awful
We have been with Heartland for years and have never had an issue until this software version was forced on us. The same issues as previously reported the app is not reliable, logs out during transactions, and sometime will not log in for days.
Tried talking with technical support and they tell me there is no problem with their software.

Bring back previous Heartland app
All previous comments are spot on. This app simply doesn’t work. If you are a retail business depending on this app to process your credit/debit transactions then you are out of luck. This app continuously gives error notices on transactions after several minutes of processing. Sometimes it crashes and the app closes. All while your customer patiently waits. It doesn’t work more often than it does work. Not good for business.
