Extremely buggy

So many bugs it’s practically unusable. Layout issues, recordings not processing correctly or refreshing….just issue after issue. I bought the Heidi microphone as well hoping it would help but it’s worse, if anything. Can’t believe this is the best effort from a company with nearly $100million in funding

Not great

Not sure how this is getting a 4.7 star rating. It routinely drops transcriptions. I recently just had to redo two entire transcriptions because it will not restart after a pause in the transcription. It shows that it is working, but it is not. This has been an ongoing issue for about a year and sometimes it is better and sometimes it gets worse.

Good App, can’t use due to battery drain + overheating issues

Great app for the first year I had it, but overheating and battery drain issues (can only capture 2-3 consults before my phone overheats and my battery is decimated) are destroying my devices, and have caused me to give up on using Heidi most days. Despite many months of complaints, no fix has been developed.

For such a high price product, I would expect better.

Updates are tricky

With the most recent update, whole conversations and treatment plans are just ignored altogether! I am skeptical about updating this app, as that is when problems show up after updates. Also, it now takes forever for the notes to actually be ready. This is quite unreliable and I’m thinking about moving over to Abridge or Dragon copilot

Heidi

This app started off very well. Now it’s so unreliable I hesitate to use it as I can’t be certain the app won’t stop working midway through, or that the conversation gets transcribed. The desktop app seems to be a lot more unreliable that the web version or phone app.

Faulty

Unfortunately lost a whole hour of patient data. The technician said it was because of emails going into my inbox and that’s why it stopped recording and then blamed that my phone locked. These things have never been an issue before. It didn’t tell me whilst it was ‘recording’ that it had stopped. If it had I would have resumed and checked it out. I am out of pocket and have to explain to the patient I have no recorded notes!! Technicians really unhelpful.

Hi Leah, thank you for taking the time to write this and we're genuinely sorry. Losing an hour of a consultation, then having to explain that to your patient, is exactly the situation Heidi is meant to prevent, and we let you down here. You're right that the most important failure wasn't the interruption itself, it's that Heidi didn't clearly tell you recording had stopped. You should never have to wonder whether a session is still capturing. We've listened, and we've since added UI improvements that make it much clearer when a recording has stopped. We're continuing to make interruptions (notifications, calls, the phone locking) far more visible and recoverable, and your report is going straight to the team looking at it. I'd also like to personally look into your session and make sure your support experience is put right. Basic functions are miserable

The ambient listening function is great when the other basic features work as they should. Very buggy. Very slow. May be related to my old iPhone 13 but still ruins my day every time.

Amazing product

Look, great software, constant improvements. I use it everyday and can’t picture my day without. The remote made things even easier to keep track of my clinical notes.

My biggest gripe is that it keeps asking me to rate the damn app multiple times everyday. Look, I am just an annual clinician account holder but this is getting to the point of feel like spam. Please adjust!!!

Battery

App is still eating the battery quickly and heating up my phone. I received a message stating you looked into this and found the issue and solved it with an update. It seemed to work initially where I noticed in the morning the battery use wasn't high but in the afternoon it eats the battery very quickly, up to +10% in 15 min.

We tracked it down to a bug in a third-party component in 3.4.3, and it's fixed in our latest 3.5.0 update, which is live now — updating should sort it out. I love my job now!

It also links to your patients so I can use the Evidence feature to prep me for a visit before I walk into the room.
