I have to turn off my vpn to use it.
It’s useful and convenient for when I need to make quick transfers or check my balances.
They have certain ip addresses blacklisted, I think. If connected to a vpn, you will get a html error. You just need to disconnect from the vpn for however much time you plan to use the app. It took me a little while to realize why I was getting the errors, so I hope that it can help others by sharing how I solved it :)

MOBILE APP
Cannot pull up HFCU new Mobil app version on my iPhone 8. HAVE TO CALL AND SPEAK TO A MACHINE.. I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS AND THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING
Haven’t been able to see account on phone for 3+ weeks
Ridiculous….. my phone is full and it takes a lot of time to get rid of the junk that comes to your phone. So, I can’t update to the version the bank is requiring for me to see my account. I have to make phone calls which is tedious and inconvenient. The more I delete on my phone, 10 more spammy things come in. I started the year at 135k emails from a variety of spam distributions. I have removed apps, offloaded apps, deleted thousands of emails, purchased more storage, emptied trash, cleared cache, and now I have over 265k emails! It is never ending!!!

I enjoy the ease of using the app
App update means I can’t use, due to old phone
Really annoyed that all of a sudden the app is requiring iOS 17 or later. This means using my iPhone 8 I simply cannot use the app anymore. I’m particularly disappointed because I just put a new battery in this phone to extend its life. Screw you, HFCU, you should’ve offered a legacy app for continued use.

constant bugs
i’ve been using this banking app for a little over 4 years now, and just recently the app has been TERRIBLE!! support is only available certain hours so say if there’s an emergency regarding your account there’s nothing you can do about it, my account constantly freezes like currently i can make transactions but they are not being shown in the app, causing my checking account to freeze. there’s always been a problem. there has been no improvement.

Bill pay don’t work
This feature was working yesterday 2/18/25 and now unable to access bill pay feature.
Long delays
In transferring funds via linked accounts the delay was significant. But that was fast in comparison to literally taking time out of my BUSY day to physically go to the branch only to be interrogated (it felt like) then have the funds delayed prolonged and inexplicably delayed. Quite frustrating

App is now broken, won’t work. Stays on login screen with spinning circle. Tried uninstalling and reinstalling same thing. Frustrating, used to work fine
