Imaginary naming for the Persian Gulf
This is a strong signal of lack of geographic naming rigour, which is paradoxal for a a geographic app, so I am uninstalling it.
Old Satellite data

Good but it freezes
Not Good
Map of Syria not available
Asking for more information every update
Was loving until
Glitch
ALMOST the perfect google/Apple maps alternative
As a side note, I LOVE the progress bar in the phone view during navigation, if you add this to the CarPlay view (after fixing the freezing/crashing issue of course) you will be way ahead of the rest!
Keep up the great work and please fix the CarPlay mode!
Update: as of July 2026 the app is far improved with Apple CarPlay but it still frequently won’t autoload in CarPlay unless you open the app on your phone and force close it! Please fix this!
Would also greatly appreciate if the view while navigating was slightly more 3D, such as when you are approaching turns.
Good but it freezes
Good overall
Overall, it was helpful.
‼️Completely wrong dropped pins messing up Amazon deliveries
Good but annoying things let it down
First the navigation is nice and offers multiple routes. There's options to change routes and vehicles in the settings. The voice it uses is linked to the iOS voice (Settings - Accessibility).
There's Speed limit alerts, Parking suggestions, Apple Carplay integration and Traffic details (however I do not know how accurate this is - Google Maps seems a lot more accurate!!!)
The major point for me is you can download entire countries for use offline.
This is where it lets itself down.
My phone is prepay so mobile data is off.
When using this app offline it constantly says my "connection is unstable" ?????
Really? Unstable??? Its your offline map that I am using and you have access to my location, so why "unstable"???
Its just annoying. I know I am offline - THATS THE POINT of offline maps!
I do not need annoying popups telling me!!!
The other is the "search-where to" field takes up half the screen (iPhone). You can swipe it down but again why does it need to contain all the other stuff like "My Connection" and "App Connection" etc.
On the iPad it takes up the entire left 3rd side of the screen upon launching, until you swipe it away.
Leave the search field but relegate the other to a side button.
Make the screen less cluttered.
So..Use this or Google Maps ??
Frankly Google Maps offers a bit more (Yes you can download maps offline - Its annoying as you select areas instead of countries and just don't update them!!!)
Amazing
I just wish the map data were more up to date, especially in the UK. The app sometimes directs you onto no-entry roads, roads that are no longer accessible, or one-way streets in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, the map information seems to be significantly behind other navigation apps.
Overall, it's a beautifully designed app, but outdated map data makes it less reliable than its competitors.
