Was loving until

I was loving this app until it misdirected me to a closed street. It had been closed for a while in the app's hometown, SF. This made me doubt its trustworthiness.

Glitch

It doesn’t start first time you have to shut and open it again, if using car play this can’t be done you just get a blank screen , however when it’s working it’s really good and would of gone 5 star

ALMOST the perfect google/Apple maps alternative

The app interface is superb, clean, fast, and very intuitive. The search is logical and returns correct items most of the time. Only gripe is I only use navigation with Apple CarPlay and the CarPlay feature freezes, lags, crashes, and is often unusable even after the newest update. Please please please fix this. I WANT to use this app so badly but cannot until this is fixed.

As a side note, I LOVE the progress bar in the phone view during navigation, if you add this to the CarPlay view (after fixing the freezing/crashing issue of course) you will be way ahead of the rest!

Keep up the great work and please fix the CarPlay mode!

Update: as of July 2026 the app is far improved with Apple CarPlay but it still frequently won’t autoload in CarPlay unless you open the app on your phone and force close it! Please fix this!

Would also greatly appreciate if the view while navigating was slightly more 3D, such as when you are approaching turns.

Good but it freezes

This is good but it freezes a lot can you fix this

Good overall

Worked very well once it took time to understand how to use it properly. Hard to find the north arrow at times on the map. I’m guessing I had to click online use if I was using data and offline use if I wasn’t?
Overall, it was helpful.

Good but annoying things let it down

This is a nice navigation app but its let down by certain things.
First the navigation is nice and offers multiple routes. There's options to change routes and vehicles in the settings. The voice it uses is linked to the iOS voice (Settings - Accessibility).
There's Speed limit alerts, Parking suggestions, Apple Carplay integration and Traffic details (however I do not know how accurate this is - Google Maps seems a lot more accurate!!!)
The major point for me is you can download entire countries for use offline.
This is where it lets itself down.
My phone is prepay so mobile data is off.
When using this app offline it constantly says my "connection is unstable" ?????
Really? Unstable??? Its your offline map that I am using and you have access to my location, so why "unstable"???
Its just annoying. I know I am offline - THATS THE POINT of offline maps!
I do not need annoying popups telling me!!!

The other is the "search-where to" field takes up half the screen (iPhone). You can swipe it down but again why does it need to contain all the other stuff like "My Connection" and "App Connection" etc.
On the iPad it takes up the entire left 3rd side of the screen upon launching, until you swipe it away.
Leave the search field but relegate the other to a side button.
Make the screen less cluttered.
So..Use this or Google Maps ??
Frankly Google Maps offers a bit more (Yes you can download maps offline - Its annoying as you select areas instead of countries and just don't update them!!!)

Amazing

One of the cleanest navigation apps I have ever used. It has a clean, intuitive user interface, and the alert sounds are excellent. The speed limit display and upcoming speed limit warnings are also very useful.

I just wish the map data were more up to date, especially in the UK. The app sometimes directs you onto no-entry roads, roads that are no longer accessible, or one-way streets in the wrong direction. Unfortunately, the map information seems to be significantly behind other navigation apps.

Overall, it's a beautifully designed app, but outdated map data makes it less reliable than its competitors.

Poor Titles (Updated 15/7//26)

So many of the names for prominent buildings are incorrect. I found about a dozen in a mile radius to where I live let alone going further afield!! Apart from this, it has promise. Next test will be does it work on CarPlay? NO, CarPlay just displaces a blank screen after selecting the icon. No use at all in the car, which is where I’d use it!

Excellent Navigation App That Makes Travel Easier

I am truly impressed with the Here WeGo navigation app. It has been very helpful and accurate for my daily travel. The directions are clear, the maps are easy to use, and it makes navigation much easier. I am surprised by how well it works and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable navigation app.

Actually dangerous

This app is dangerous and poses a risk to any user who attempts to use it for navigating city streets or streets or roads in general and it really shouldn’t be in the App Store. Every few years, I forget whether this is the bad nav app or the kind-of bad one, and I give it another chance. This is the really bad one.

Today I asked for directions from one side of downtown Pittsburgh to the other and it drove me out of town to a gravel road connecting some parking lots, where it told me to drive around in circles around the parking lots until I finally pulled over, shut it down and used Apple maps instead. I have learned a hard lesson today. Save yourself the trouble.

Not for me.

The voice is very robotic. I used it on a route I am familiar with, and it took a route that was longer and out of the way. There was some kind of alert sound that I never figured out, a low Thump-Thump. It did announce street names. There are better apps out there.

Here we go

This application isn't helping when using Apple CarPlay and cannot be used to report traffic or other information, unlike Apple Maps, Waze, and Google Maps. And the traffic isn't as good as these other platforms.
And when you get to the roundabout, the arrow showed to say go straight over the roundabout or take the first exit. It told you to take the first exit at the image, but it's not straight. It's bent to the left slightly, which is confusing. And if you reroute yourself to a different route, the navigation gets confused and tries to take you back to go back on the same path he wants you to go.

Die Hard Since Nokia

I would trash Google maps if they incorporate ratings and reviews

Aplicación precisa y fácil de utilizar.

Excellent

Very pleased with this now

1 good feature

The only thing I like about this is that I can set my max speed to get accurate arrival times. The adding stop feature doesn’t add the stop in order of distance it tags it into the end of the trip and says to backtrack the whole way back after arriving at final destination.

It won’t let me sign into my account

Everytime I try to sign into my account on my iPad it’s saying that my email and/or password is wrong and I should check them even though they’re right. I tried resetting my password a few times but it didn’t work

Not good in the usa

Does not have traffic information or 511 data

Good-ish app but better competitors (Google Maps, etc.)

Hi. I wish this app had a report a faster route feature because I am finding in my area that Google Maps provides me with faster routes. I googled does here we go let you report faster routes and here is the answer Google Ai gave me: HERE WeGo does not feature a manual, user submitted "report a faster route" button to instantly alter algorithms.

Users should be allowed to report faster routes within the app to help improve the app and users should also be allowed to attached photos when reporting a faster route. You can do these things in Apple Maps and Google Maps in the report a problem or report an issue section. Google Maps also has a help and feedback section.

This app had a feedback feature within the app and it seems you guys have removed that feature. Why? Google Maps and Apple Maps and Waze all have feedback features within the app. Mapquest does as well but the only difference is you have to send an email to give feedback. In Google Maps, Apple Maps and TomTom maps & traffic you do not have to use your email to send feedback
