Extremely useful and essential
Really impressed with Hexis. It feels like a genuinely thoughtful approach to sports nutrition, rather than another app simply telling you what to eat.
The personalised recommendations are the standout for me - they make it much easier to understand what my body needs around training, and the guidance feels practical and actionable rather than overly complicated. I also really like how it connects nutrition to the session itself, which makes the advice feel much more relevant.
The app is beautifully designed, intuitive to use and clearly built by people who understand endurance sport. There’s a lot of potential here, particularly as the product continues to develop.
If you’re serious about training and want to get smarter about fuelling, I’d definitely recommend giving Hexis a try.

Eye opening
This app has improved my ability to recover and feel better in training. In thought I had a good handle on nutrition but the app has taken it up a level. It takes some work and you need to be disciplined while using HEXIS, but after 2 months I’m a huge fan.
Latest update is a step backwards on the UI
It is now less easy to navigate and clicks have been added on to get to the same places - it’s worse. Remove the extra clicks please
Doesn’t live up to promise
Downloaded after hearing about it on the Roadman podcast and to support my nutrition goals.
I’ve come to it from previously using myfitnesspal as a direct comparison- it does a bit more by syncing workouts and adapting targets on the go but really that’s about it. And my biggest bugbear is the scanning feature - hasn’t worked yet on one UK product which makes the whole application experience pretty terrible. You have to manually input every single macro which is time consuming and just workable for majority of users. Feel pretty ripped off to be honest.. if I could claim my subscription fee back I would.

Disappointing
This app has so much potential but it has to many bugs and is not very user friendly.
One of biggest issues with it, is that logging your food is a pain. A lot of my foods are not recognized and the ones that are listed the macros are wrong. It also will randomly change my weight to 450lbs/204Kg. Which means that it doubles my calorie intake for the day. I can reset it and it still doesn’t save my actual weight.
This app has a long way to go before it is worth using.
