I love Hey Calendar!

Just like Hey email, the calendar has been reimagined into something I didn’t realise I needed but now can’t live without. Having a journal and habit tracker included is great to have in one place, but it’s the overall interface and little details on the calendar I love the most. The horizontal day view is a game changer, being able to name a day and add a photo to it are really pleasant features, and the “sometime this week” feature reflects reality- you aren’t always able to do something at a specific time but you still need to remember to do it. I’m really happy to continue subscribing to Hey email and calendar.

FAQ

What does HEY Calendar do?

HEY Calendar is a productivity app designed to help you manage your time more effectively. It focuses on organizing your schedule around days and weeks, rather than traditional monthly views, to better align with how people naturally think about their time. It also includes features for tracking habits, highlighting important events, and scheduling tasks that don't have a fixed time.

What are the key features of HEY Calendar?

Key features include a weekly-centric view, the ability to establish and track habits, mark important events with highlights, and accommodate flexible scheduling for tasks that are not time-specific. It also offers event countdowns, day labels for added context, color-coded sub-calendars, and flexible reminders to ensure you don't miss important activities.

Is HEY Calendar free to use?

Who is HEY Calendar designed for?

This app is ideal for individuals who find traditional monthly calendar views limiting and prefer a more intuitive approach to planning. It's particularly useful for those who want to track habits, manage flexible tasks, and gain better control over their daily and weekly schedules.

How does HEY Calendar handle tasks that aren't time-specific?

HEY Calendar acknowledges that real life involves tasks that don't have exact times, such as 'sometime this week.' The app is designed to accommodate these flexible scheduling needs, allowing you to note tasks that can be done within a broader timeframe, like 'maybe this week or next,' without needing to assign a precise slot.
