Problem from the beginning
I can’t even get into the app it has me make a password and email i go to log in and doesn’t recognize the password so I hit forgot password and it does it again
App aborts frequently
It’s fairly functional but the app quits unexpectedly quite a bit. The nag screens to buy cloud storage get old. All you need is a miniature SD card.
Not sure why people are unhappy. These are really great. Super easy.

The main confusion seems to be the cloud storage pricing. Each camera has its own subscription, which makes sense because each one uses its own storage. If you have four cameras, seven-day storage is about $12 a month total, and 30-day storage is about $20 a month. Expecting one flat fee for every setup doesn’t really make sense since not everyone has the same number of cameras.
Setup was very easy, mounting them around the house was simple, and the video quality is crystal clear.
For me, $20 a month for 24/7 monitoring and 30 days of stored footage is well worth it.
Overall, I’m very happy with them — 10/10, and I’ll probably buy more.

Very Poor
Hardware is good but it does not support local storage regardless of the fact it says on the box.
Other minus point is cloud storage. Cloud storage is per camera not per account when a person is covering the property he is going to need to put on multiple cameras so storage should be per account.

Unsuccessful app
Just like all the other low quality security cam apps this one also is weird. It feels like using a fake app or cracked app or something. Can see the videos but no way ofdownloading. Records normal size but when you want to see it only shows you middle of the view. So much room to improve.

It won’t let me view the video on my SD cards this camera used to be good! Fix it please

Cameras are good so far as I just installed them few weeks ago main test comes in winter.
However there is a very big problem with HG CAM compared to U.S. based companies.
U.S. based companies charge the account for cloud storage with unlimited Cameras.
Whereas HG CAM charges for cloud storage “Per Camera” it’s a ripoff.
HG CAM charge the account for cloud storage not each camera.
Make this improvement immediately and you will see more customers and lot more profits.

Does as discribed
I bought the solar power PTZ camera. And the app is a little confusing to connect to the camera. You have to choose the first option and hold the QR CODE INFRONT OF THE camera. Then the camera will say it’s connected to the Wi-Fi. Then at the back out go back in to it. And connect the camera to the phone while it took me about five minutes to trouble shoot. But everything works good. The video looks great
