Problems connecting with Spotify
Since last week I can’t make it work with Spotify. It connects but when I press play it stops immediately. Tried spotify on my phone and on my iMac and works properly
I restarted and made a factory reset but I’m still having the same problem

Tengo varias bocinas y con las actualizaciones tanto en apple como en android ya no fue posible conectarlas por wifi. En iOS tampoco por Bluetooth y eso hice la prueba con diferentes dispositivos. Tanto en iOS 12 como en iOS 13. Solicite soporte en Apple y me mandaron con Hitachi, solicite soporte con Hitachi y me mandaron con Apple. Después decidí comprar un receptor Bluetooth y conectarlo a la bocina para poder seguir usándolas. Gracias de nada.

Will never buy a Hitachi product again.. piece of garbage speaker.. even the Bluetooth doesn’t work. What a horrible company.. waste of my time and money.. I hope they go bankrupt!
Bluetooth’s connection is not working
Bluetooth’s connection doesn’t work with new Apple update (iOS 13), and WiFi signal is intermittent /unstable (which is pretty frustrating).
Extremely Limited-Worthless
Absolutely will not allow user to add their subscribed music services to the listings. So you can’t use what you have paid for. Also the commie s o b’s at Apple have disabled the Bluetooth connectivity so the several thousand dollars of Hitachi speakers are WORTHLESS. Thanks you filthy money grubbing a holes.

In 4 years you couldn’t update the app or the firmware... nice would quality but the firmware is not compatible with iOS 13 via Bluetooth... what the fk is wrong with you?

Appmand the speaker are useless. Stay away if you haven’t already made the mistake of purchasing. As other reviewers mentioned, app is terrible and doesn’t work. Even Bluetooth on this speaker fails to connect.

The speaker does not work with Wifi. If it does connect to Wifi you can forget about ever using the Bluetooth again! Piece of junk!

App works on my old iPhone that has not been updated. Latest updates makes the device useless. Does not work at all.
app is stupid
i clean a lot and i like to listen to music. i always have trouble and problems and end up using all my time trying to connect this stupid speaker. definitely recommend another speaker.
No longer works
Speakers no longer work on Bluetooth or Wifi. I have 2 and both stopped because of no updates to app or firmware. I have verified this. NEVER buy Hitachi!
Poor Long Term Support
Because they don’t keep firmware updates current, my 3 home speakers I rely on are useless because of the fact technology keeps moving forward and Hitachi does not. Regret purchasing!

Very poor experience
Overall, I am having so many problems with this speaker getting it to pair (I have had a few Bluetooth speakers and used many, I am fairly tech savvy, and surely enough to work a speaker). I tried the app and it’s not not doing anything at all. Now the only way I can use this speaker is to e jacked in.
